Monterrey Tex Mex - Menu

I've been eagerly anticipating the removal of the 'coming soon' banner and the opening of this place, and I am pleased to say it did not disappoint. The food was excellent! Definitely give them a try!

This is a small, warm atmosphere for a restaurant. The food is definitely better than the other local Mexican restaurants and offers a very reasonable lunch menu. The fajitas are definitely the best thing on the menu.

My husband and I are visiting from out of town, and we took a chance on this restaurant. The food was incredibly delicious and the prices were great! It's a small place, but it has a lively atmosphere. We would definitely eat here again! View menu

Good food. Friendly and helpful staff, except for the one lady that doesn't speak English and I don't speak Spanish. I'll go back. You should try this place if you haven't. Lastly, if you are staying next door at the Staybridge Suites definitely walk over and grab some of the grub.

Love it here. I ordered 2 Burritos a beef and a shredded chicken with queso cheese up, comes with rice and beans, chips and salsa. No problems with the order. I wish I had a picture of her chimichan gas they are big and fried, they are BEAUTIFUL. My husband is Picky and LOVED IT. Good price. Two combos for $21. Will definitely return.

Excellent food and service! It’s a refreshing change from the usual Mexican cuisine we have around here. They provide two delicious salsas with your chips. The prices are unbeatable—just $4.95 for a speedy Gonzales and Taco Tuesdays for only 99 cents! The restaurant is cozy, which means you get attentive service. I do not recommend ordering from this restaurant. Their prices are too high, and they are very stingy with chips and salsa. I placed an order for five people and paid $70, but they only sent one small bag of chips and a half-filled cup of salsa. I was informed that since I paid the full amount, it was considered a complete order. Save your time and money—there are plenty of excellent Mexican restaurants in the area that I would prefer to support instead.

When my family and I relocated from Germany to Columbus, we were eager for some good Mexican food (Germany doesn't do Mexican cuisine well at all), and this restaurant was our first experience in the States. We were very pleased with the quick service and the quality of the food. At that time, the prices felt a bit high, but we didn't mind it (though, understandably, everything has increased in price since then). However, last year we noticed a decline in both the quality of the food and the cleanliness of the restaurant, which has become concerning. TACO TUESDAYS! 99 cent tacos! We went Tuesday and they don't advertise this nor do they tell you...the waitress told us AFTER we ordered and paid and said management tells them not to tell guest until AFTER they pay. We were pretty upset about this and would have visited again but decided not to because of this. It was kinda messed up of them to not tell us while we were there.
