"I give the food 2 stars and the service 4-5 stars. The service is great, incredibly friendly and they even gave us a complimentary dessert. Above and beyond! The food however, was average (or slightly below). To be fair, I got the chicken tikkamasala (not super adventurous) and was disappointed. I feel like every Indian restaurant should nail this classic dish. Ourchicken tikka was very tomato-y and the chicken chunks were a bit dry. It lacked the flavor and spice a typical tikka masalahas. The naan bread was good! The coconut naan was a new flavor I?ve never had. Garlic naan was fantastic ? authentic."

This restaurant has superb service as well as delicious food. My favourite spot around here. The food arrived quick and the prices are fair. Highly recommended.

Good meal. Nothing earth-shattering. Warm and tasty all the meal. Very nice service. The nut naan is really fun and new. They gave us extra rice no charge. Great peeps. View menu

The atmosphere and service was great. Both our curries were good. It wasn't as spicy as I've had in the past, but I know that foods from the varying regions taste different. I'd go again. Apparently, they have great lunch specials too.

My wife and I ate here one evening in December 2019 and loved it. The food was great, and very well priced! I had a goat rogan josh and my wife had a tikka masala and we were both pleasantly surprised with our meals. It's not the largest of places so get in early to avoid disappointment.

The food was pretty good! The naan was really nice and crispy and flavorful. I enjoyed both entrees a lot. Would get new ones to try out if I'm back. Indian food in kips bay is pretty expensive and this was on the cheaper side, for vegetarians at least. The service was really good as well. View menu

Food Prices are Very High, Food Quality is not as expected, and The portion of food is also not equal compared to other restaurants. Need Improvements in preparation of food.We ordered Chicken Manchuria, Chilli Chicken, Biryani, and Goat/Mutton Biryani. The goat/Mutton is not cooked properly. The Biryani taste is not good.

This is absolutely my favourite restaurant on third ave. The food is amazing and the customer service is incredible. I like a lot of spice in my dishes which typically leaves me dissatisfied at restaurants, but they managed to find the perfect balanceand (despite me definitely being a bit picky) Gary is super accommodating. I recommend this place to everyone I know and theyalways leave satisfied. The food is always fresh and with a 50% off lunch special, everyone in the area should definitely giveit a try.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
