"Can't believe I didn't know about this place for so long after living in the area for years. Have been coming here every few weeks after running morning errands with the family and we all agree this is the best deli we've been to in Virginia. The owner was super friendly opening the door for us when we came in and then offered to give our daughter a pickle spear to munch on while our sandwiches were being made. If you haven't been here yet you need to try it. Highly recommend the Virginia ham sub."

"Great food! The potato leek soup was too DIE for. I could have eaten a whole pot. The pretzel was very good too and we liked the mild cheese and mustard sauce. The burger was cooked perfectly and was hot and juicy but honestly, the meat didn't have a ton of flavor. And the corned beef and cabbage was very very good. I hate cabbage but could have eaten twice that serving size. And that was really the only negative, the corned beef and cabbage serving size is a little"

"I’ve been eating at this Thai restaurant since I was a little girl and it still does not disappoint. I am usually not a fan of duck, but they have figured it out and it was magical! So happy to see them still doing well.The Tom Yum soup is also perfection.The atmosphere has always been a bit strange inside, tables are close together and it’s hard to have a private conversation. I saw LOTS of to go orders though."

"Life took us from from Leesburg to Fairfax today and we decided to lunch at Lazy Dog (they have plans to add a location in Landsdowne) and see what 's to come . . . We were greeted promptly with an offer of the dining room or patio and, because it was a gorgeous fall afternoon, we selected the patio (but not before noticing a nice, spacious interior with a big wood fireplace that may come in handy for later in the year as the weather cools). It was busy, but not packed on the patio and our server came over quickly. An animated young man, Josh, well mannered and informative, walked us through how it worked and our specials. After mentioning it was our first time, he offered us a free order of the house chips hand made garlic parm that were delicious. We ordered goat cheese and pepper jelly appetizer and I had the Fish Chips, that Josh recommended and my wife had the Thai Chicken Salad (which was enormous). Quality and taste were exceptional, Josh was attentive and polite, with a touch of humor, which we appreciated Two large drafts , but no dessert all for less than $90,including a generous tip for Josh who deserves this 5 star review. Well done Lazy Dog and Josh. We 'll be back !"

"We had a wonderful dinner at Hamrock’s on Saturday night! Great service! The apps were spot on. Calamari was perfectly cooked. The avocado bruschetta and Brussel sprouts excellent. The main courses were nice sized portions and very tasty. Rock fish and ribeye. We had several great priced bottles of Pinot noir! They have a great porch area as well for when the weather warms up. The owner chef even came out to greet us and chat for a bit. We will most certainly be back!"
