"We went for lunch on Friday. There wasn't a crowd when we got there, but it got busier by 1 PM. We were seated right away and our waitress was friendly. The menu had a decent selection of Irish food, but the prices were a bit high. The food came out quickly and everyone enjoyed their meals, but no one was overly enthusiastic. They said it was good, but their reaction was lukewarm. I would typically give this experience four stars, but I'm deducting one star for a noticeable trip hazard that wasn't marked."

It's a nice bar and good staff with a quality menu, better than just a bar. I understand things are more lively at night, good Irish tunes through the day, sometimes live music. The proves are reasonable and with what you get in exchange.

I have never had a shepherd's pie as delicious as the one at this restaurant, even in Ireland, Scotland, or England. My family enjoys trying other items on the menu and we visit this restaurant once a month. The service is also outstanding.

The Irish cuisine at this restaurant is delightful, the ambiance creates a Dublin-like experience. With Irish music playing in the background and live performances, along with premier football matches on the TV screens, this became our favorite spot. We will certainly return. View menu

Went for appetizers on a Friday night. I think it?s the one night they don?t have any sort of event or live music, so the restaurant was completely empty. Very good food, pretty expensive though. Free garage parking a couple of blocks away. The live music is great when they have it!

True authentic Irish pub feel with amazing food, warm welcoming service, and fantastic drinks! Price is normal for the Fairfax area so please don't show up looking to save a buck! Entertainment (live music is often a month). Plenty of TVs to entertain the sports enthusiast! Love this place!

We?ve been here a couple times before and had burgers, which were good! Recently we went with my in-laws and wanted to change up our order. My in-laws had the fish and chips and the Irish sausages and Mash. They said both dishes were excellent. I ordered chicken tenders which unfortunately were over cooked rubbery, but our waitress took them off the bill for us. My husband wasn?t thrilled with his chicken wings either, saying the sauce was pretty bland. I tried one View menu

Great food! The potato leek soup was too DIE for. I could have eaten a whole pot. The pretzel was very good too and we liked the mild cheese and mustard sauce. The burger was cooked perfectly and was hot and juicy but honestly, the meat didn't have a ton of flavor. And the corned beef and cabbage was very very good. I hate cabbage but could have eaten twice that serving size. And that was really the only negative, the corned beef and cabbage serving size is a little

I had a wonderful time last night celebrating my birthday and Saint Patrick?s Day at The Auld Sheeban! It was already packed with people celebrating when my husband and I arrived at 5:00 but we lucked into a couple of seats at the bar within a few minutes and stayed there the entire evening. The bartenders were amazing, getting drinks and food out at a fast pace all the while staying good-natured and friendly with their customers. I?m usually not a fan of traditional
