"Great concept but very poor execution. I like the idea of fresh foods, custom sandwiches and diy salads but unfortunately this Jason?s is not up to par, actually far from it during my recent visit. The workers seemed very unsure of what they were doingand it looked like it. There seemed to be more cluttered tables awaiting clearing and cleaning then empty and occupied tables.And we didn?t see anyone clearing them until we were ready to leave. The salad bar was also messy and many items looked veryunappetizing. There was quite a variety of ingredients though so I was able to pick and choose those I could tolerate. The drinkstation was also covered in splatter and looked like it hadn?t been wiped all day. I know it is supposedly tough right now toget enough good workers but that doesn?t mean standards of cleanliness can be simply ignored. I will not try this Jason?s again."

"Great experience celebrating a friend’s birthday! My first time here but the birthday girl’s 100th visit. She loves it here. Loved the guacamole and chips. My friend had her favorite burger, cheese curds, and Brussel sprouts. Service was very nice and very accommodating. Menu had lots of amazing choices. Many things from gluten free options to seafood, and salads. Although lots of items with cheese dairy. It would be challenging for a plant based patron to enjoy anythjng more than a side or salad. Would love to see a delicious crafted full plant based dish. Drink menu was large! My friends found their drinks very pleasing. Environment was loud and busy. I can see why everyone loves it here. Amazing patio setting and indoor seating. Comfy and inviting. Everything on the menu looked amazing. I look forward to come back to try a seafood dish."

"I’ve eaten here probably 5 or 6 times dining in. The food is always good but I had always been disappointed with portions and ratios. Like not enough hummus to eat the flatbread, etc. However we just got takeout during the coronavirus lockdown and the portions were gigantic! We had more hummus and flatbread than we knew what to do with There are not a lot of vegan options. Even the falafel has egg in it. But, this is Iowa so obviously we aren’t expecting Cafe Gratitude. The options available are delicious. Basically you’ve got pizza (choose your own toppings, vegan “cheese” is available if you’re into that sort of thing), salads, hummus, and pickled vegetables, all of which are fantastic. That’s not much but if you don’t go too often you can mix those options every time and not be disappointed."

"I have visited this restaurant several times and have noticed that the food is consistently better when we get it for takeout. The servers are always fantastic and very polite, but the quality of the food can be inconsistent when dining in. I have had both excellent and poor meals here. During our most recent visit, my partner ordered the mushroom lasagna, but it was evident that the alfredo sauce was broken. It was a dish of oily, clumpy cheese and was truly not edible. However, the meal I had (pesto Fettuccine) was delightful."
