"Omg! My momma and I have been coming here for YEARS! When we first moved up to Spanish Springs there was nothing! New house developments were rare. Walmart in sparks wasn't even built! I remember coming here with my mom for boba after school when the school bus dropped me off. I since have visited 2x since, I had oral surgery and got pho here and just today! Working at home is a blessing but working from home on Fridays is treat myself for lunch different! Ordered a large bowl of combination pho and shrimp and beef vermicelli. It was pretty good! No matter how warm it is out... pho always hits the spot. Service was good and very fast. Busy Friday! Cheers to an amazing start to my weekend!"

I have been a repeat customer to this restaurant. I usually order the vermicelli noodles and spicy crispy potstickers and have never been disappointed.

I love this place. Literally it was not able to eat here in months because they are never open and do not answer their phone when they are sometimes open. Business must be good, I think it's so incompatible.

I love this place! I order from here often and it's always yummy. They are prompt and my to go orders are always on time, and when dining in we are always served quickly. The prices are pretty high but the portions are pretty decent. View menu

We got Chinese take out from this place yesterday and the price was not worth the food. I called in the order and I told the guy on the phone I couldn't hear him well. I ordered Mongolian beef and sesame Chiken and he made them into a meal even though I only wanted the whole portion.

We had large bowls of Pho with raw beef and rice noodles, and it was pretty good. We added a bunch of Sriracha sauce to spice it up. We also had some Thai milk teas which went well with our now spicy Pho. The service was nice, and they seemed to have a lot of takeout orders. For the price, it was real good. "Last night I experienced the most unscrupulous experience I have ever had with a restaurant with the service at the Wok. I am so offended by their actions; I can say we are honestly done with visiting the restaurant in the future. I’ll start with we have been getting dinner on our way out of town every month or so from the Wok for years. Their food is generally very good, but we have had a few times where the food missed the mark. Everyone has an off day so we keep going back, until last night. Their online ordering did not work, so my wife called in an order while I was driving through Reno and I stopped by to pick it up. There was a little confusion when I arrived as they ahad three to go orders on the counter. It seemed they worked everything out and I paid for the order and left to head home. Twelve minutes later I get a call. It’s the Wok and they tell me they had given me the wrong order and asked if I could return. The employee apologized profusely and since we wanted what we ordered, I went back. I arrived at the restaurant and took the order they had provided back in and they checked the bags. The cashier told me she charged me the wrong amount as she had rung up the wrong order. I asked what the difference was (first bill was $63.00 for four entrees and some potstickers) and was told the new total was $94.00. The last order we had was for the same items and was just under $70, so $94 was a shock. The cashier told me she had told my wife the wrong amount and apologized. She also offered a $10 discount. I paid the bill and said I would wait for our food. Much to my shock, I watched them empty the items they had given me, place it on the counter and everything was what we ordered. One entrée had spilled when they took it out and they quickly put it in another bag and then with a big smile handed me the items I already had. I said, “so my order was correct but the amount you charged was wrong?” I asked why did you lied to me to get me to come back. I was told that I would not have paid if they did not lie about why I needed to come back. I was incredulous and decided the best thing to do was to just leave. So, 35 minutes after I left the first time, I was on my way again. Once I got home, II asked my wife what the total was that they provided when she called in the order. She said they specifically told her they did not have a total and I would provide that to me when I picked up the food. Yet another lie. I tallied up my items and came up with a total of $68.75, certainly less than what I originally paid, but clearly not the $94.00 they tried to charge. So tonight, I called and ordered the same items and was told the order would be $76.57, yet a different amount. I promptly told them no thank you. Most restaurants would honor their mistake. With that said, if they called and told me I paid the wrong amount, I would have made it right. But instead, they lied to me, clearly tried to overcharge me and then gave me a discount that was still more than the price for the same food 24 hours later. Their actions were inappropriate, uncalled for and unscrupulous. Over the last year, we visited this restaurant 10 times, but last night was the last time they get any business from us."

"Second time at a Charlie Palmer restaurant (first was Four Seasons vegas, 2019, which is now closed . Our server, Erewyn, and busser, Forest, were the stars of the night. Erewyn has a passion for food and wine and it shows. Forest was very attentive throughout our meal and worked hard. The restaurant did not have black napkins, but Forest went to find some for us. The extra effort is applaudable. But then there was the meal. We ordered the bacon appetizer that came out completely unseasoned. We had to ask for salt which only made it nominally more palatable. The dry aged rib eye was also under/unseasoned and chewy like a sirloin. They butterflied it, so not a surprise there. The petite filet was a bit better but also unseasoned. The au gratin potatoes were good. The wine we chose was the highlight of our meal; mostly because it didn’t come from the kitchen. However, the executive chef did come out and sit with the table next to us for about 15 minutes (who were being comped their meal, assuming employees from another CP location based on their conversation . He did not stop at any other table to see how the meal was, including ours where a salt and pepper mill sat prominently, indicating that perhaps the kitchen didn’t send out properly seasoned food. Then the restaurant manager also stopped at the same table, but no others. I would think you would want to stop and talk with the paying customers and see how their meals were in order to gauge quality. That was definitely not the case and our meal was a reflection of the lack of interest. I doubt I will ever eat at a Charlie Palmer again because there are so many better steakhouses to choose from (and I’m wondering whether the $15 ribeye at the Cal-Neva wouldn’t have been better than the $89 one here? ! Nearly $600 later for a dinner for two and the highlights were the waiter and busser. At least service is good, because honestly, we probably could’ve had a better steak at Outback."
