"Wow! We’re from out of town and were shocked that we found a place that had plant based cold cuts! We were just going to get a salad because we figured A sandwich shop always make a good salad, but then we saw the menu And we’re excited to try the regular plant sub and the chicken cutlet one. And they weren’t just passable like a lot of veggie stuff. They were amazing. Also, the chop salad was awesome! Always great food! Price, but worth itVegetarian options: The cold cut combo vegetarian style was very strange. Almost returned it, but i got through it. But for those who don 't eat meat, they do have something for ya!

So far I 've had the Italian meatball steak and cheese, on separate visits. All have been very good and fresh, the steak and cheese is not of a Philly type or quality. The bread is dense, they have wraps which are good if you don 't care for dense bread. View menu

Having sampled numerous Connecticut grinders, I must say that this Italian combo with hot peppers is my absolute favorite. The meats are generously stacked, the special vegetable mix is both flavorful and crunchy, and the bread is wonderfully soft. It's sheer perfection!

We 're traveling through CT on our way home and stopped into the Meriden location for a late lunch. We were warmly greeted by both front of house guys, got a fun bell ring and a Gratzie! for our 20% tip. Our veggie sandwich was delicious, great bread, and the perfect amount of dressing. Our chicken caesar was fresh and tasty. Used the bathroom before we left and it was very clean and smelled nice! If we were local we 'd be there all the time.
