"Another excellent meal at Cotton. We've been times now and they've all been noteworthy experiences. We were seated immediately, there was a bit of a delay before Summer, our server, arrived but not long. She was very attentive and knowledgeable, excellent service throughout. We started with drinks, a local beer from Abel Ebenezer and a peach and orange blossom Cosmo, which arrived in a timely manner. For an appetizer we had the Tuna Tataki which was superb. A perfect, light, blend of savory, sweet, and spicy with succulent tender seared tuna. For an entree I had the Delmonico steak, cooked medium rare at the chefs recommendation and my wife had the Atlantic Salmon. My steak was the first expensive steak I've had in years that measured up. The mushroom red wine sauce was a perfect pairing and only enhanced the flavor of the meat. It was cooked perfectly and the carrots and mashed potatoes were a tasty surprise of bright flavors. My wife's salmon was cooked perfectly as well. Flaky and moist. It's served with sweet corn and potato gnocchi and baby tomatoes. A delicious sweet compliment to the creamy herb butter on the fish. For dessert we enjoyed a rich dark chocolate torte (flour less but apparently not gluten free and the dolce freddo, a pistachio gelato with raspberry remoulade and pistachios on top. The torte was decadent and too rich to finish after such a great meal so we brought half home. I was staggered at the amount of gelato and didn't finish mine either, though it unfortunately wouldn't survive the ride home. Overall, the meal was fantastic and I would do it exactly the same all over again. It's worth noting that this was a very expensive meal. Including another beer we just barely missed by mere cents before tip. Worth every penny in my opinion"
