"We ordered the dragon roll, spicy ahi poke, spicy pork bowl, and spam musubis. The dragon roll was delicious and fresh, and we really enjoyed it. The poke was also wonderful, although the rice seemed not to be fresh and would have been better with fresh rice. The spicy pork had great flavor but the meat was a bit tough. The musubi sauce was amazing, but the nori was soggy from the plastic wrap and the spam was thick and undercooked. Overall, we would consider returning to try other items on the menu."

The curry chicken did not taste the same as what I had in Japan.

Was a blessing to find a restaurant serving poke on the 16th Street Mall. Friendly chef, made lunch fast, and good value.

The sushi and rice bowls at this restaurant are delicious and fresh, with a very appealing presentation. The location may be in a simple strip mall with limited seating, but the food is top-notch. View menu

Delicious sushi and ramen options. I had two rolls and both were delicious. Also had the miso soup and it was fresh and comforting. The atmosphere is on the simple side but the good food makes up for it. Highly recommend if you are in downtown Denver.

I was in the downtown area for a short stay and found this place nearby to my hotel….tried their bento box meal with rice pork edammame and some juicy sauce which was just so hearty and fresh..Service was quick and food. Great go to place when you’re around downtown.

We loved Obento when we were in downtown Denver for a long weekend. Fresh, fast service and everything was delicious. You order at the counter, which we really like. The miso soup was some of the best we've had, along with the strawberry slush boba and the 16th street roll was so good. Pictured is the philly with avo. We'll be back! View menu

Obento is a small and cozy store I had seen a few times during previous visits downtown. I'm very happy I finally decided to pay it a visit! The boba is delicious, with the tapioca pearls being perfectly chewy, and the milk tea being sweet but not overpoweringly so. I also got a yellowtail roll and a rainbow roll, both of which were delicious.

I concur with the sentiments expressed in other reviews about the atmosphere at this restaurant. While it may have a simplistic vibe, it does not detract from the delicious food served here. I believe the comments about pricing are subjective, as the menu offers dishes ranging from $4 to $16.95, which is typical for sushi and Japanese restaurants. In my opinion, the quality of the food justifies the cost, and I am satisfied overall with my dining experience.

"Love this place! Absolutely zero complaints. Wife surprised me with a stay in Rino for Father’s Day with Colorado Sake being the main reason for the stay. I’m a sake enthusiast at home. Everything we tried was amazing. We spent a couple of hours and did a couple of flights along with some Kanzake(warm sake) and tried 5-6 different izikaya dishes and they were all amazing. We stumbled upon a comedy show that we didn’t even know was happening which was absolutely hilarious. I loved the place so much, I ended up going back in the morning for round 2 and tried the remaining flavors I missed the night before.Met Taylor and she was incredibly attentive and helped us get through the rest of the flavors so we could pick the 6 bottles I wanted to take home as well as recommending some amazing food options. They had ran out of take home bottles and she did everything in her power to figure out a way for me to be able to bring home the bottles we wanted. Thankfully the owner came in with more bottles right before we left. All in all, one of the best Father’s Day trips I’ve had, such good food and the best drinks.I can’t wait to go down there again. Unfortunately I have a feeling I am going to have a hard time drinking the traditional sake I’m used to because this slightly different version is so damn good!Again shoutout to Taylor and the crew for taking the greatest care of us.This place rocks!!!"

"In a relatively unassuming location north of City Park lies a cute conglomerate of businesses, one of which being Rivers Roads. On nice days, it 's exceptionally setup for indoor/outdoor space. But even on cold days, it 's nice to cozy up with a cup of coffee and soak in the sun flooding the space through the south-facing glass garage doors. The coffee is great! I got my usual cortado, which was served in a small paper cup and featured no latte art , which was unfortunate. But that 's where the disappointment ended, as the flavors were excellent and it was well-balanced between milk and espresso. The space itself is quite spacious even inside, with plenty of plants and unique lighting fixtures. There 's ample cafe-style seating. It 's a great place to stay and work awhile or meet friends for conversations. Music isn 't overpowering, and WiFi is half decent. Not exceptional speeds but 25 up/down is adequate for many basic things. Plenty for me to finish the series finale of See in 4K while sipping my cortado! The staff are always pleasant and I would say more attentive than average, making you feel welcomed immediately. It 's not exactly in my neighborhood, but it 's still a regular spot for me. Seasonal drinks are good and most syrups are made in-house. Food is great. Outdoor patio is spacious and dog-friendly. There 's simply not many downsides, if any. Aside from there not being an actual river."
