"Odumak is hands down our favorite and top place to get Korean fried chicken in SF. Absolutely nothing beats it! We've tried many places, but their supreme chicken is so unique in flavor and absolutely slaps, I'm telling you. We always order half of that flavor and another half of the soy garlic, a great combination. But Odumak is not just about the fried chicken. Other highlights are the kimchi fried rice, the tteokbokki with ramen, corn cheese, and the sides. Everything we've tried has been consistently delicious and flavorful. One thing we love about Odumak is that they always have plenty of seating, and we have never had any issues with parking. The staff is SUPER friendly and helpful, and they always make us feel welcome. We appreciate their attention to customer service, which makes our dining experience even better.I love the vibe too, they are always plays Korean music and it's so fun. Honestly, we're scared this place will get too popular one day and we won't be able to frequent it as much lol, but wow what a hidden gem of a place in SF. We are so glad we found it and will be holding on tight. If you're a fan of Korean fried chicken or just looking for a great Korean food spot, Odumak is a must-try!"

I recently visited this Korean restaurant and it is one of the best ones I have been to in a long time. The food is absolutely amazing and the staff are incredibly kind. I highly recommend this place! Also, don't forget to try dish #22! Food rating: 5/5.

I recently moved to the area and stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant. The fried chicken was delicious, and the bulgogi fries were a standout dish. The atmosphere was great with K-pop music playing. They serve a fantastic Korean Rice beer called Makdeolli. I highly recommend it. The portions are very generous, so make sure to come hungry and bring a friend! Overall, a perfect rating of 5/5 for the food.

I didn't think i would be so disappointed with Korean food but this place did it. Ordered japchae and it came super watery and bland. Not even a hint of sesame oil was used. Ordered the chicken wings with sweet and sour sauce. The sauce was odd and had this weird old taste. Last thing we ordered was the bulgogi fries and there wasnt much effort put into that as well. Overall, we enjoyed the side dishes more than the main dishes.

This is for togo order of the jok bal-we used to come here a lot for late night dinner, my favorite dish is jok bal and I was surprised to see that on Uber eat so I ordered delivery, the portion is small for $42 with tax and delivery fee, and it supposed to come with romaine lettuce and radish wrap but instead only comes with cabbage. It also cut to very thick pieces that I had to cut it again myself. Hope next time when I go to dine in they will improve this View menu

It's a small cozy place. My friend and I came here on a Friday night around 7pm and we got our seats pretty quick (not a lot of people during that time). We ordered three items: corn cheese, kimchi fried rice, and bu dae jjigae. The corn cheese was a bad one because they just poured the cheese on the top and the corn was not fresh at all. The kimchi fried rice and the army stew were just fine. The service was good, but I guess I will not go back to this place.

I've been on a quest to find delicious zha jiang mian in the city. Came up short the last three times at three different restaurants and I started to question whether or not if this dish was supposed to taste good or not.At long last, this journey is over and John (the brains and brawn behind the kitchen at Odumak) made the long wait worth all the trouble. Faith in humanity restored.I'll stop being foolish and will not order zha jiang mian from any other place to avoid the disappointment. Thanks Odumak for setting the bar!

This restaurant is a hidden treasure! It is located on Taraval, a bustling street, but I had no idea it was there until recently. I walked in at 9:30 pm and was seated immediately. It was a quiet Friday night, but I enjoyed having the place to myself. I was captivated by the music playing on the big screen and the cozy atmosphere. The service was quick and efficient. The chef was very friendly and even gave us a complimentary plate of Supreme Chicken. We ended up with plenty of leftovers, and everything tasted good (though not exceptional compared to other Korean restaurants). We ordered creamy tteokbokki, bulgogi fries, soy garlic fried chicken, budae jjigae, and corn cheese. View menu

Heard good things about this place, went to try it out.Ordered:Soy and Garlic Chicken- overall solid flavor, but what lost me was that a good amount of the chicken was dry. I did appreciate how they seemed to serve you a ton of different parts of the chicken, which was a cool touch that added different flavors, but perhaps due to this a good amount of it was dry. There were a lot of awkward bones due to this as well.Kimchi Pancake- Pretty solid kimchi pancake with decent crisp on the outside. This places kimchi had an interesting vinegar flavor that I didn't particularly like, but after being cooked it was pretty good in this dish.Overall, not the most value Korean food experience in the cit...

Cool vibe w/ K pop playing on the TVs in the background, can get a bit loud as the restaurant gets busier.Appetizer:Corn cheese $11.95 yea, waste of money and not enough cheese. Make it yourself at home and add as much cheese as you like.Drink:Yogurt Soju Cocktail $15 guys, this is a hefty sized pitcher! Not a single serving, can definitely share between 2+ people. The cocktail is very foamy, which I wasn't a fan of.Chicken:Half order $16.95 has a mix of 6 pieces of dark and white meat. Some pieces of meat were very tough, not very tender or juicy. Skin is flavorful and fried nicely. Soy garlic is sweeter than Bonchon's and Supreme is great for anyone who likes sweet hot wings that are not t...

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
