"Onomea's take on the Hawaiian Loco Moco is my favorite so far; it's incredibly sweet and tender. During my last visit, I indulged in their wild boar special. While the dish was slightly salty, the side of potato salad balanced it nicely. The sautéed onion slices complemented the meat perfectly. The restaurant has space for a small crowd, and although the music was a bit loud, the staff were helpful when I requested it to be turned down since the place wasn't full. I really appreciate that kind of attention. It's definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!"

Every time I miss Hawaii I head to this place and it brings me right back. It's a taste of Hawaii right in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Yummy authentic Hawaiian food with friendly staff. You should definitely check it out.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very calming and pristine. The waiter we had on my last visit was exceptional—attentive and fantastic. I've never felt so welcomed and appreciated, except in upscale hotel restaurants. The food is straightforward, but simply delicious. View menu

This restaurant transports me back to Hawaii every time I visit. They serve fantastic, authentic Hawaiian dishes, along with fun Hawaiian-style juices that you can mix with your choice of liquor. The staff is incredibly friendly as well. I highly recommend checking this place out!

I did some electrical work for the owner's parents a while back and they mentioned they owned a restaurant. One day I decided to try it out, not having any major expectations. I was wonderfully amazed by how good the Poke was followed by the Loco Moro. The food was excellent as were the drinks. If you have never had Hawaiian you should stop by and check it out. If you are a foodie you probably know about it already, and if you are a regular person you should check it out. This place is great.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
