"Saw lots of high reviews, so I gave it a shot. Very average food. Not bad, but underwhelmed.Basic enchiladas and tacos. Taco meat had no distinctive taste, basically no seasoning to it. Tasted like hamburger meat with salt and pepper. Enchiladas ends were hard and dry, the sauce on top was minimal, had to ask for more.Rice had several large clumps. When I arrived there were only three occupied tables so not busy until I left.Mexican food in Southern states is so much better. You can taste richness and the cultural spices, not hot, just more flavor that you can taste and even smell as food arrives at table. I've eaten at 7 different Mexican restaurants in the area and that seems to be a pattern. Again, not bad, just so so tasteParking: In a strip mall so ample parking available"

"I went to Siam Table for the first time and ate in the restaurant. I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken at 1 spice level, but it was too spicy for me. The dish had an excellent flavor. My mother ordered the ginger stir fry in vegetarian style with no spice and she really enjoyed it. The second time I went to Siam Table, I got takeout. I ordered the Asparagus Chicken and Pad Thai, both with no spice, and they were delicious. The photos are from my takeout order."

"This place used to be pretty good, decent portions for the price, delicious treats, good atmosphere. While the atmosphere hasn't changed, the prices have sky rocketed and the skrinkflation is real. Have gone there twice recently- once getting a breakfast sandwich on a bagel that was the size of a mini bagel; the second for a cup of chicken noodle soup that was half full, had exactly one piece of carrot, and ~12 noodles. Yes, I could in fact count them and the only reason for the approximation is that I'm trying to give credit for the tiny pieces of noodles. Ridiculous honestly, and now an overhyped place that can get away with this kind of thing simply because they're local and started off strong."

"I came here to alter my stars.This used to be my favorite restaurant in the whole Des Moines area, so this is hard to write. I ordered takeout from here a couple of days ago. We got online, looked at their menu and decided what we wanted. We ordered boneless chicken wings 10 tiny little bites), a side order of fries, a large margarita pizza $29! size-14x16) and a large pepperoni and beef pizza 14x16). It was $72 and some change. What the hard part is, I used the menu on their website, called to order, and the owner took my order. I get there and was told the price which was about $20-25 more than I expected. I respectfully asked why it cost so much, they let me see the receipt then, and I asked about the prices not adding up with their website and she just said, yeah, that 's our pre-covid prices. I asked why they have it that way and she said the owner doesn 't know the password to get in there to remove/change it. That is poor customer service. She did give me a verbal apology. I would have done more than that for how shocked I was. I was going to sit and have a drink while I waited for my food, but I couldn 't see spending more money. Waiting an extra 20 mins more for my food, than what they said it would be ready, was nothing compared to the sticker shock I had. I 'll post the pictures, if Google will let me. NOT worth $72+. "We were greeted with a basket of warm, garlicky bread balls and some toasted bread, both fresh and delicious. I can't remember the exact name of the dish I ordered, but it was a chicken breast stuffed with mushrooms and various cheeses, topped with a red sauce. My partner had a salad, which she really liked and has ordered each time we've come back. The service has consistently been outstanding for us, though we always ask for the same server. I don't recall his name, but I would guess he's in his late 20s or early 30s. He works tirelessly to ensure everything runs smoothly. If I get a moment, I'll come back to update this post with his name. Overall, my partner and I really enjoy this restaurant and will definitely be returning!"
