"We went on a busy Sunday afternoon. The server was very busy, so she wasn't able to get to us or check on us as often as usual. Normally, I'd give 5 stars for service. Something was different about the flurry I had this time. It left a little bit of a film in my mouth after eating it. This is not typical of their ice cream. My boys and I have enjoyed their ice cream on many other occasions. Today was different, so I only gave the 4 stars for this visit. It looks like there are some new upgrades taking place such as new signs and decorations. This is a genuinely old time looking restaurant with the comfy booths. This is a cash only restaurant, so remember to stop at the ATM and bring cash. The prices are fantastic for the amount of food you get. I'd recommend checking out this restaurant. Summer
The service we did get wasn't bad, but we barely got any service at all. The food was mediocre, honestly could have made it better at home. The place completely lacked atmosphere as well. It definitely felt like somewhere I would have went with my great grandparents to get breakfast in the 90s. We have no plans of going back.
