"Tucked in a small strip, Paris 7th surprised me with an inviting foyer and an open dining room. Upscale setting and a nice background music who else but Mireille Mathieu! The specials get delivered to you on a chalk board which makes it fancy! The special white bean soup was delicious but I was given a gigantic spoon to eat with. The duck was amazing try the Roti! The dessert, which name I cannot pronounce, was out of this world! My time was made special by my wonderful waiter who was witty and knowledgeable, the maitre'D and possibly the owner who stopped by my table. The hostess was very nice, but the white shorts she had on did not quite match the French style, suites and the long aprons...(mental note). Overall a great experience and definitely going back!"

Food was excellent. Only minor criticism is our bread was not served warm. The escargot and duck terrine were superb as was the Duck confit and Ribeye. The staff was great but the decor seemed a bit 1990's. All in all the experience was great.

I’ve been here twice now and I can’t say how fantastic and unique this place is. The sommelier Chris is so knowledgeable about not only the wine/drink selection, but the food as well. This a true dining experience. The scallops, escargot, filet mignon, halibut, duck, are all fantastic. I’ve been recommending this to all my friends. I even waited a few days to write the review as I was unsure how to convey just how great this experience was. Can’t wait to go back.

"On my first visit, I tried the Southern Shrimp and Grits, which were simply amazing—stone-ground cheese grits topped with sautéed shrimp, enhanced by a flavorful mix of peppers and bacon. Chef Jeff and his team use fresh sirloin in their chili, and it’s absolutely delicious! The portions are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. The food is exceptional, and the concept behind it is truly inspiring. I now volunteer here regularly. Chef Jeff and his wife, Julie, have a mission: "Our mission is to feed, educate, and serve our community so that they may 'taste and see that the Lord is good'” (Psalm 34:8). Customers can choose to: 1) pay what they can afford, 2) pay the standard price for a similar restaurant, or 3) pay a little extra to help those who are less fortunate. This creates a beautiful and fulfilling experience. They are open for lunch from 11 AM to 2 PM, Tuesday through Sunday. If you’re pressed for time, I recommend making a reservation and letting the hostess know. Diners are seated using a "paced method" to ensure the volunteer staff isn’t overwhelmed, but any wait is certainly worth it! Be sure to try the pour-over coffee or refreshing lemonade, and sample small plates like bruschetta or farro salad, as well as main dishes such as the apple bacon sandwich, crispy potatoes, burgers, shrimp and grits, and chili. And don’t overlook the dessert—it’s indulgent! I can’t express enough how much I adore this place!"
