"I eat at this place as much as i can because of the awesome food, great atmosphere, and nice employees and waitresses. I get the Philly cheese steak sub alot and everytime it's perfect! The fries are crispy and seasoned perfectly. The sandwich has nice soft bread and juicy, flavorful, mouthwatering grilled steak mixed with chopped green peppers and onions. You can never leave here hungry because they give you great servings of food. Always leave here satisfied and happy with a full stomach. Also i've seen local Hickory police here, if they eat here, i know this place is awesome!"

We found the Parkway House on Google, it's only 5 minutes from Lenoir Rhyne University. We had 2 hamburgers which were great, it is a local restaurant with a great atmosphere, and we can't wait to explore the rest of their menu.

I really loved this place. You have a wide selection of dishes and very friendly staff. It was my first time there and everyone made it as if I had eaten there forever. I had a burger and it was tasteful and very well cooked. Next time I'm in the area, I'll stop here again.

Our server was very busy but still was able to take care of us in a truly hospitable way. The food was delicious and plentiful and the prices quite reasonable. I was surprised to find Greek options on the menu but, I have never had better tzatziki sauce in all my years. I look forward to returning as soon as I can. View menu

Parkway House is a fantastic restaurant in front of the beaten path in Hickory, NC. The breakfast menu is available until 3 pm each day, the prices are very reasonable for a local kitchen. A great alternative to Ihop, we loved everything both times we visited. Incredibly friendly service, wonderful family-friendly atmosphere, delicious food!!!

I can't believe this restaurant was here all along without me knowing! My first visit was fantastic; the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The restaurant has plenty of tables and seating, and the interior is really nice and clean. Everyone was very friendly, which made the experience even better. I can't wait to return! I highly recommend this place!

We can't speak highly enough about this restaurant and their staff. Kendra was the absolute best! She was helpful in explaining the menu and her favorite dishes. You can tell she is passionate about the food AND the restaurant. She has a big heart and won't let your drink even run out of ice that's how good she will take care of you. Great Food! Organic and healthy, yet old fashion enough to remind you that tou are in Hickory NC! The atmosphere actually matches the area rather than what others try to do and make it their own. They also give crayons and art for the little owns. Prices are in some areas higher but the food quality is well worth it. Also, get the egg biscuit! The biscuits are a little hidden treasure.
