"Had mixed feeling about going to pasta Freska due to rave reviews from a few friends but was a little risky for a valentines date! I threw all caution to the wind and said let’s try it! Well it didn’t go so well...Reservation was at 7pm and we didn’t get seated until 8pm. we had no other option other than to stay and wait as everyone else was booked). It wasn’t just us it was everyone, they were not equipped to handle the amount of reservations they took. This was the case until we left around 10pm within people trying to find room to stand while they waited and crowed around our table. There is no explanation of how many dishes you will receive but rather telling you there is more to come. Food had good flavor but was all very heavy, overly saucy, and a lot of carbs. I like to have a baseline of what to expect and that and organization were lacking. Owner was very friendly and checked in but for me the first impression and lack of awareness of how to create a good dinning experience was enough to decide this is not the place for me."

The tablecloth underneath my bread plate was dirty. While the food was tasty, my husband did not like that it was brought out in stages. The restaurant became overcrowded and we felt uncomfortable with people waiting too close to our table. The noise level was so high that we couldn't even talk to each other.

Chef is very personable, and it's such a nice thing to just sit back and be served... everything's a surprise. All you have to do is tell him the things that you don't like or are allergic to and it's then customized.... just be flexible, and let yourself go and enjoy.. this way, you can concentrate more on who you're with and the great time you're having with them!
