Pawpaw's - Menu

I enjoyed a late lunch at PawPaw's Hamburgers on Hwy 62 in Blanchard, and it was amazing. The food was freshly made, not frozen, and everything tasted wonderful. The staff provided outstanding service as well. I will definitely return!

We dined there last night and the food was absolutely outstanding. My husband got a burger that he said was the best he’s ever had. I opted for a sirloin steak, which was cooked to perfection and incredibly tender. We will certainly be coming back!

I've shared this story with numerous people. As a business owner myself, I've noticed that they're planning to open a new location in Blanchard and several in Chickasha. Based on our experience, I wouldn't be surprised if those locations face challenges in drawing customers, but only time will tell. Wishing them the best of luck! View menu

The food at this restaurant is overpriced for the Blanchard area, and both the service and the meals were merely average. I'm fairly certain that this place has now closed down. I believe Pas Paw's burger restaurant has taken over the location. It appears that the steakhouse may have been too ambitious, as the high rent of the building compelled them to set their prices too high.

Last night, three of us went out for dinner. I ordered the whole fried okra, but it appeared that no one was aware of it. Our waiter, Sterling, was attentive and friendly, which we truly appreciated. I absolutely loved the loaded mashed potatoes! My friends opted for hamburgers, but they felt the buns were a bit too small. However, the burgers themselves were quite delicious. A big thank you to Sterling for his excellent service!

After we completed our meal and paid the bill, the owner came over to sincerely apologize once again. He was genuinely kind and friendly, which made me wish the waitress had displayed the same demeanor. I could have rated this restaurant lower because of the lackluster service, but the owner's professionalism made a positive impression. I ordered the lunch burger basket, and it was outstanding—truly delicious and definitely one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The fries were also exceptional. The service was impressive; despite the busy kitchen, we didn't have to wait long at all. They've moved to the southern part of town in the former Hub Lil's building. They're open every day of the week and also offer breakfast. This is a fantastic addition to our small town, and I sincerely hope they succeed and stay here for a long time.

The steak I ordered was quite good, and I enjoyed the mac and cheese as well. However, the fried zucchini was below average, and the fried jalapeños were just average. After finishing our appetizers, we waited around 20 minutes only to be informed that our main order had been lost. Once we paid for our meal, a person who I assume was the manager came over to apologize. Overall, we spent over two hours there for our meal. I think they should have offered to comp the appetizers or maybe provide a dessert as compensation. I'm not sure I would return.

Now, onto the details of our experience. We were seated promptly, and there's a small bar area with additional seating, suggesting the possibility of alcohol, which is a nice touch! Just to note, our table was clean, though the floor was scattered with peanut shells. I actually see that as a positive sign! I had my two-year-old with me, which can be a bit tricky since toddlers often get hungry and restless. However, he was thrilled to discover a tin bucket of peanuts right at the center of our table—it felt like a treasure hunt! Our server was a young man who did a fantastic job!
