"Did my son get to work with me, he likes Mexican food almost as much as I do. I wanted to share it to my favorite place and treat it to order Cheese Crisps from. He was initially unsure as he is a picky teenager, but he ate 3/4 of the gun and explained a new favorite. The cheese cracked is the size of a large pizza and has strips of grilled chile strips on it with a variety of cheese. I've been here for about 12 years mainly because of the cheese circles. Salsa and hot sauces are served in a table squeeze bottle (homemade), which is suitable for people like me who eat everything in salsa ruined. The combination plates are surprisingly colorful with rich red, green and platers very well built and visually appealing. I ordered my usual chimi with chicken, chicken was a little dry and spice was minimal, the salsa was easy to use and was still delicious with the beans, rice, fresh acid cream and guacamole."

The green chili burrito and guacamole tostada were fantastic. The house margarita was just alright.

Haven't been here in 3 years on acount of moving to the east coast. I used to go here on taco tuesday for lunch. Best tacos I've ever had and salsa.

Best flour tortillas enchiladas I have ever had!! Park on side street as their parking lot is small. Front of their building is not much to look at but the food and service is great View menu

Pepe's is a fun and intimate taqueria with a great menu (I recommend the carne asada taco plate), friendly and responsive staff, and refreshing margaritas and cocktails located in the heart of Phoenix just off Camelback. View menu

I was craving crunchy and that's exactly what I got. The chicken flautas are out of this world! So are the carne asada tacos. My partner got the mole chicken enchiladas! Mole is something I crave regularly. You have to come try this place!

Great restaurant has gone from the bustling Camelback rd. Welcome to the input immediately. Cosy seating area and bar. Enjoy the daily special that was excellent (enchiladas). Margarita Special, too. Super friendly and personal staff. Very clean environment.

"i’ve been coming to lacuna for over two years now and this little gem is definitely one of my favorite places to be. i’m not much of a review-writer, but when i feel passionately about places (good or bad , i get inspired.as someone who leads an alcohol-free lifestyle, it is SO nice having this option to unwind and create some art, relax, or hang out with friends. i’ve truly made so many wonderful connections through lacuna that i will cherish for a lifetime!it’s also a great place to get work done. i work remote, so i spend a good majority of my week here at my second office ; the BOGO happy hour deal comes in clutch.i think it’s really great that there is a mix of events now too, not just strictly DJ’s performing 6-7 nights a week. (although i do absolutely love the nights when there’s a DJ as well ! the variety of events is great; chess tournaments, community coloring, workshops, recovery groups, massages, yoga etc. there’s been a lot of engaging activities that i enjoy attending or participating in.i feel like lacuna has become a lot stronger in both the workspace and community-front in the last year or so too. the kavatenders all have such a warm and positive energy and always make me feel special when i come in. it’s nice seeing management interacting with customers and staff more too. it’s nice overhearing the positive feedback from management to staff (or staff to staff , and hearing the conversations that the staff members have with guests. there just seems to be a lot more connection overall. lacuna is growing and glowing for sure. <3the price increase is a bit of a bummer, but in a time with inflation… what can you really do? i personally TRUST lacuna with their product and that’s what keeps me coming back. i know they put both quality and care into their products and it really reflects. it can be a pretty penny if you’re getting multiple drinks, but fancy craft cocktails at a regular bar can be the same way. plus, my points add up so quickly i get pretty frequent discounts with their reward system. it’s not the end of the world!i appreciate the subtle changes in the bar layout and decor too. even the little things keep it feeling fresh and a little new each time you come in.the *only* “negative” thing i have to say about the space is that it can be difficult to order a drink or close out a tab sometimes. there’s rushes and it gets busy, but sometimes it feels as if one staff member just isn’t enough during these times. sometimes there’s not a lot of communication about this either between staff and people trying to close out, but i’ve been coming here for awhile now so i know what to expect. if you’re in a time crunch, just give yourself a little buffer or cushion of time to get closed out (or order to go right off the bat and close out immediately .all things considered, though, 5 stars all the way around! lacuna is an ever-evolving, ever-growing spot and i’m excited to see what the future looks like for you guys! : bulaaaa!!!!"
