"We sometimes eat here for convenience. Today was for dinner. I ordered the Pho Tai Sach, which had been my usual pho order at all pho restaurants. Their pho has been usually a tad on the sweeter side for us but with generous meat and sach. Overall, 3.5/5. The Hu Tieu soup was decent and good, nothing special but they did provide 2 quail eggs and more meat vs othe places, 3.5/5. Spring rolls, decent and average (seems to have gotten shorter), nothing special or wow. The peanut sauce was ok, 3/5. Our server was impatient and didn't listen well to our order this time. Customer service was made much better by the owner's son, which he usually provided great service. 4/5."

The staff is fantastic and very helpful. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. I attempted to complain, but they took it well.

Clean environment. I am surprised at the many detailed photos. It’s a Vietnamese restaurant in a Chinese populated area so it’s understandable. Parking was easy. 4 stars is for over all before tasting.

good place for lunch. reasonable price for pho. the rare bark is tender. so good. the noddles are too soft. I wish they could make them hard. the big bowl has the best. $10 or more for using credit card.

I was happy with the large portions and everything tasted fresh and was well prepared for my take-out order. It's been years since I was last here, and I'll be adding this place to my favorites lists in Milpitas. View menu

Very yummy pho house with lots of variety-good menu. The bowls are large and the food is great. Crowded during Mon thru Fri at lunchtime. Good healthy choices and some very nice appetizers that are not so good for the cholesterols.

Great portions, quick service, and very friendly staff! The seating is spacious and dog-friendly. The bass fish noodle soup was both simple and unique, while the grilled shrimp, pork, and egg rolls with noodles were absolutely delicious!

Best place for Bún bò Huế, they are so popular that the casher told me to order it by BBH since most of people will have a funny pronounciation for it.Well BBH is just one type of spicy vermicelli noodle soup that not on common menu. It turned out that I like the Oxtail version better, named Bún bò Huế Đuôi bò. View menu

It's hard to stand out in South Bay as a Vietnamese restaurant. Pho Nguyen has a few things going for it. It's clean. The service is nice and the food is quite good. Ox tail seems to be a specialty here. I tried bun bo hue with ox tails. It's pretty tasty with good serving size. My daughter tried bun with grilled pork. The meat was tasty too. My wife tried the traditional pho. It's good. One thing you can tell if the pho is good is if the side of the raw bean sprouts and basil leaves are fresh. And they are here. Good place. Recommend!

There are a lot of pho restaurants in the Bay Area, and while I haven’t tried them all, I’ve sampled most. Even though there are many places closer to me, I’m willing to drive 20 minutes to get to this one because it’s that good. The ingredients are fresh, the broth isn’t overly salty, and it tastes fantastic. The portion sizes are generous too; as a 6'2", 260lb person, I can barely finish a large bowl. The spring rolls are also fresh and delicious, and the service is incredibly quick. This may not be the absolute best pho in the Bay Area, but for the price, it truly can't be beaten.

"I always go to this store as we live closeby. I always love to bring my kids in this store, and have them order their food. Yesterday, I went with my 3 yr old son (his bday) coz he wants a cake pop. I let him call the barista so she knows we're ready to order. My son said excuse me like 5 times, said hello like 3 times to get her attention coz she's talking with her coworker. She finally came up to us, my son ordered cakepops, I ordered 2 java chips and 1 mocha frappe. The baristas before were soooo nice, very friendly, welcoming but yesterday was the opposite. Btw, always sip a bit of your drinks before you leave the store coz yesterday I guess the barista who made the mocha frappe forgot to put in sugar syrup. I just found it today as my husband didn't drink his mocha frappe yesterday. Coz what if you just stopped by to get some drinks and you already left then found out something is wrong with your order. And also, they do not offer Java Chip anymore, so you gotta pay additional for the chips. The barista didn't even inform me about it, found out today when I checked the receipt online. I called in to let them know about my concerns, they offered to remake the mocha frappe. The barista who made our drinks was the one who took our order. Maybe she had a bad day. But then, I just wish the baristas will be more friendly and welcoming and inform the customer if a menu is no longer available so we have the option to change our order. "First time to Koi Palace in Milpitas, though had dined at their location in Daly City decades ago. Very disappointing.. It's on a Monday around noon, and the place was pretty filled up. The service was lousy, starting from the receptionist who practically saw us but totally ignored us, even after my husband kindly waving his hand to him in order to catch his attention. After seated, though some servers had been going back forth by our table but none would look up, stop and talked to us. Of course we had to wait for a while before being served, minimally. The 18% mandatory tip charge to the customers was totally undeserved due to the lack of acceptable, good service to their customers. We have been to a few similar restaurants (in terms of foods class) in the Peninsula area where mandatory 18% tip charge are imposed but they do provide very good service consistently to their customers. We primarily came to eat at this restaurant for their well-known dim sum and its variety. Foods served were disappointing, unfortunately, considering their high-priced tags. Siu Mai 燒賣 were not fresh; skins were tough and the meat hard to chew. Shrimp dumblings or Ha Gow 蝦餃 were okay. Tofu rolls 鮮竹卷 were acceptable. The Budda's Delight vegetarian noodles 羅漢齋麵 was made up of a large portion of noodles but only few vegetable ingredients, not worth the $24. Adding to the noise level of the place due to crowded tables (very close to each other) when it's busy, it's definitely not a pleasant dining experience at all.. Do not plan to return.."
