"Update Jan 2023: still fun for vegan junk food snacks, but boba drinks have not been great quality. Despite wanting to support all-vegan business, for drinks I have to recommend going next door to Bambu. —— Located in a strip mall which seemed to have all Asian shops (including several other boba tea cafes), Happiness Cafe is a pretty typical boba shop except that they are all vegan! They have an ice cream case with 8 flavors you can order as scoops or milkshakes, a medium-sized menu of snack foods (mostly unhealthy), and a few sweets including cake and Chinese desserts. That in addition to the boba drinks which is a pretty basic/standard menu. When we visited, the pearls were a little bit hard on our drinks, but that can happen sometimes. The avocado roll was delicious. It was actually hard to find a parking spot despite the large parking lot as many people were there Saturday evening. I thought it was slightly overpriced for the quality but it was consistent with usual boba cafes. I would go back as it's exciting to see all-vegan specialty businesses! When you step inside this restaurant, you can feel the love! The owner is passionate about veganism and the food they serve. There is a great selection of dishes that are filling and comforting. We loved their sandwiches and will definitely be returning to try more. View menu

Not a big boba drinker so wasn’t so excited about the vegan boba but when I saw they had noodle soup, something I loved to eat before going vegan, I knew I had to try it. The broth was flavorful and had lots of noodles veggies and the mock meat was very close to what I’ve had before.

We found this place for lunch on HappyCow! We had the Happiness over rice and Passion fruit green tea! The owner was friendly with us. And the food was quite delicious! We even grabbed a candy bar to go! It was a vegan version of a mounds bar! We should have tried the other varieties as well!

My partner and I have visited this restaurant a few times and we absolutely adore the food and drinks here! Every dish I've tasted has been exceptional. Being a dessert lover, this is the perfect spot for indulging in delicious vegan sweets that are hard to come by elsewhere. I highly recommend it! View menu

I visited this restaurant shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic and unfortunately haven't had the opportunity to return. I tried the Thai iced tea with pearls and was impressed, prompting me to want to explore more of their drinks and dishes. The avocado roll, as others have mentioned in their reviews, was outstanding. I also sampled the happiness over rice and chicken and waffles, which were decent but the roll stood out as the favorite. I had a pleasant conversation with one of the owners who was incredibly friendly and kind, adding to my desire to revisit the restaurant.

We ordered the Avocado Rolls $7.50) and their 'Beef ' Stew Over Rice $11.95). Absolutely LOVED the creamy rolls wrapped in vegan roti. It was so flavorful that I 'd take these over a normal spring roll any day. Our beef stew was also really delicious although a bit on the saltier side. The soy protein and sauce were a great combination and you can never go wrong with brown rice and steamed broccoli. Yummy combination. There weren 't a lot of baked goods available when we went but I would love to try their dessert options one day. They certainly have a great selection online. Thanks Happiness for the wonderful experience!
