"Just finished my sub. We walked in just after 4 and even though it was slow, the service was friendly and efficient. The store was very clean and quiet enough that we could have a conversation. I was excited to find a sub shop that actually offered horseradish for roast beef (we each got the Dagwood), and next time I’ll order extra. Our sandwiches were delivered hot and the bread was fantastic. The sandwiches felt a little light on meat and cheese, but that might have just been the side salad worth of lettuce that came on it. Everything was really good and fresh, even the tomato slices which can be tough in Feb. My only wish would be for a healthier side option, but that’s being picky. They’ve got the usual chips, potato salad, and pickle. They also offer several veggie sandwich options which I look forward to trying in the future."

It was definitely different and was a great surprise on how good it was had never been there before and sounded good so me and family decided to go in and try it out. Was a great place to grab a bit to eat.

I really enjoy Planet Sub, this sandwich is the superhero! The only downside is that it can sometimes be a little dry, but I just add some mayo and it's perfect! The service was quick and the staff was friendly.

I have eaten at planet sub about 10 times in about 25 years. It's delicious but about last on my list of sub shops maybe because no drive thru. I need fast convenience and willing to put up with less taste for it, which is sad. View menu

The sandwiches at this restaurant are fantastic! The bread is fresh and fluffy, and the ingredients were delicious. I tried the limited time chicken salad sub and my wife had the BLT. The sandwich was definitely worth the price of 6.99.

This sub shop has a great atmosphere with a cool industrial feel, featuring wood and metal decor that is hip and inviting. They offer a variety of seating options, including a bar area, tables, booths, and a large private table for groups. Instead of traditional numbering, they use playing cards for creative points. The only downside is that the food took longer than expected (15-20 minutes) for a sub shop, but the bread and sub were good and fresh. Overall, it's a good option for those who don't feel like cooking. The Monday night trivia was packed, showing that they have something special going on. I might have to go back and give it a try again.

"As a Gluten free couple and myself being only a fish eater (no meat) there are very few quality restaurants my husband and I find that we can truly enjoy in the city of Wichita. Most places do have one or two choices for those with my dietary requirements, but often they seem like an afterthought. The Belmont is now added to our short list of regular places we plan to dine. We met Tory, the owner who sat us to our cozy booth, and immediately began to offer creative GF takes on several of their dishes. I was offered a decontructed bruchetta where the fillings were served on a lettuce plate and in place of some of the meat component was offered a side of nice smoked salmon for protein. I added the olive snack and was delighted with the red and green selection. My husband had the burger (hold the bun) and loved his meal. We splurged on sharing a dish of homemade vanilla ice cream for dessert. It was fresh and tasty! My only suggestion would be to keep some rice or GF flour on hand in the kitchen to possibly offer some of the breaded or fried dishes as GF options. (Yes even with a shared fryer, there are many such as my husband and I who are not celiac who have found shared fryers make no difference) Fully 30% of the public considers themselves GF. It is so easy to get a box of quality GF pasta or sub out some GF or Rice flour to dredge for frying. I find Rice flour to make for a crisper dredge anyway! I truly wish more Wichita restaurants would attempt to provide more varied dishes for us GF restaurant goers. Wouldn't you like 30% of your client base to be thrilled to head your way for good GF dish options? Just offering starchy GF sandwich buns (not what the Belmont does) is not a creative answer."
