"This was my second time coming to Pomegranata Cafe for breakfast and it was just as good as the first time around. My dad ordered the country-fried steak and eggs, which were a hit—the steak was perfectly cooked and the gravy was incredibly flavorful. I had the lemon blueberry pancakes, which honestly was filled with fresh berries and had a nice lemon taste as well. That was a dish I would definitely order again next time I eat here. What really set Pomegranata Cafe apart was their efficiency; our meals arrived in record time, which was a bonus because both of us were running on a short amount of time to eat. Honestly, one of the best breakfast spots in all of Aurora/Naperville. Also, bonus that they serve breakfast until they close. Great place for traditional breakfast fare. But they do it better than most!

Love this place! Food is superrrrr good except for one times my scrambled eggs were way too runny. I always ask for Jillian as my server she’s the best!!!

Fantastic service, even when it's crowded. Food is always good, too! The omelets are delicious, fruit is fresh, and pancakes are good. Nice, cozy atmosphere. View menu

Wide variety of breakfast dishes. Good flavor and seasoning. At peak hours you have to wait but usually you get the table in a reasonable time. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Such a lovely hidden gem! I have been here a couple times and the service has been excellent! And the food? Everything I’ve tried so far has delicious. My personal favorites are the bavarian cream filled french toast and their ever cozy french onion soup which has been wonderful during the chilly season.

I went there on a weekend for breakfast. I had the chicken fried steak with eggs and pan cakes. The steak was cooked just right crispy and tender. The eggs over medium and sausage have was the best part. I haven't many places that make a good sausage have but this was good. I will be returning to try lunch and dinner. View menu

Came here with my husband on a random Tuesday for breakfast! The service and atmosphere was amazing, but we didn’t like the taste of some of the food we ordered. They were able to take it back to the kitchen and remove it from our bill so we didn’t have any complaints. We would come back to give another try. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Best breakfast spot in the area!!!! We have been coming here often (too often? for a couple years now. The service is outstanding as is the food. Their French onion soup, chilaquiles and Ay Karamba scramble are out of this world with flavor. We always remark that they must treat their staff impeccably well since they are always so happy, hospitable and quick to get what you need. It’s been the same staff every time we’ve come for two years straight. We wake up craving their menu and love this place! Cannot recommend enough and take all our guests here.

"The reviews made us excited to try this place. We ordered the Angus burger meal, chicken tenders meal, a cheesesteak sandwich, all with fries, and a drink. Bad news first. The fries were soggy and limp at best. Some of us received undercooked fries that seemed very much as if they opened a bag of frozen fries and nuked them for 2 minutes. The burger texture and the taste were way off from what I know Angus to taste like. It was soggy, mushy, gray, and microwaved. It was so off-putting that it went into the garbage on the first bite, and at over $70 for the food, I had zero guilt for putting it there. I went home to have a cold bowl of cereal. The sauce on the burger was watery and not flavorful. It was pretty much French dressing with water. Even the color was like French dressing. The lettuce was crispy, and that was the only positive note for that experience. The chicken tenders had the exact opposite problem. Those bad boys were overcooked to an absolute hockey puck and so thin I think it was more breading than chicken. Completely inedible. You could bend them from end to end, and they were holding strong. The good news. The ice cream that comes with the kids' meal was very vanilla and was actually decent. The cheesesteak sandwich is BY FAR the best thing on the menu and the only reason I would ever visit again. I'm not trying to be mean with this review, but I have to be honest because I feel as though we were tricked into coming to this place because of all the overwhelmingly positive reviews. It was a waste of hard-to-come- by money for our family."
