"I knew we probably should 've tried their shabu shabu instead since we managed to have the most 'meh ' ramen ever. Service was fine and polite and our food came out after a reasonable amount of time...but the flavor was just not there. I ordered the shoyu beef ramen rice combo (I originally wanted to do sushi but apparently they don 't have any, the menu is out of date FYI) and my husband had the tonkotsu: the shoyu broth was very one note and lacked any depth of flavor, and according to my husband his broth tasted pretty bland as well. The noodles themselves were okay, not overcooked but tasted just like the broth did: unremarkable. The veggies that came with the shoyu were also unimpressive...I really wish I paid more attention to there being broccoli (never good in ramen imo), the mushrooms were chewy and didn 't have an appetizing texture, the corn was typical corn, and the bok choy was limp and overcooked. I managed to finish my bowl but apparently the tonkotsu was beyond my husband 's ability to stomach entirely. As for my rice bowl I asked for the chashu fried rice and if you ever had mediocre hibachi fried rice (super oily and very charred) that 's pretty much what it tasted like. Pass. If you decide to come here you 're likely better off ordering anything but the ramen, I think."

Ramen is definitely not worth it. The broth has little to no flavor, and I didn't even bother eating the meat.

The ramen here is disappointing—it's the worst I've ever had. I'm convinced the broth comes from an instant noodle packet, despite their claims. I wouldn't recommend it.

Food was almost inedible. I think there may have only been 1 server the night we went so service was slow. The bathrooms were clean but the table tops had a lot of dried food caked around the edges.

The service wasn't very good. It was our first time there and we didn't know we had to get up to get our veggies and stuff so we sat there for a while just waiting. The server did not explain to us any of it. The food was just okay, there are way better Shabu spots in Irvine.

Pretty darn good and the price is reasonable. I stopped in for a quick lunch. The place was empty so service was fast. I got a bowl of Ramen beer combo deal which was around $18 Flavors were really good, the chashu pork was excellent, the noodles had a nice bite and the egg as creamy and not over cooked. We came here for dinner and ordered the combo ramen and rice option to share between 2 people. The portions were enough and satisfying. The tonkotsu ramen and chicken katsu were delicious. I'd prefer more curry with my rice. Hoon is the owner and her personally takes the orders himself. Very nice and generous guy. Come here to support your local Asian shabu and ramen restaurants. Nothing hits the spot like a bowl of warm soup for the cold, windy fall and winter months.

Upon checking DoorDash for clarification, I discovered that because they were out of vegetable gyoza, they sent me 20 pork gyoza without consulting me and charged $45 for them! How is that acceptable? They should have just sent 6 pork gyoza instead of 20. Additionally, the chicken ramen was disappointing, and the pork gyoza was mediocre at best. I reached out to DoorDash, and they adjusted the order cost to $31.99, but the credit will remain with DoorDash. We don't use DoorDash very often either.
