"When I brought the situation to the attention of one of the staff members, they didn't respond or offer a refund; they simply took the plate away. I typically hesitate to leave negative reviews, but finding a caterpillar in my food was incredibly off-putting and completely ruined my dining experience. This presents a significant health risk, and I would strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant."

Very quick to pay attention to you and take your order. It's not busy and wait time was only 5 minutes. Very huge portions.

Love the bento dishes, all are very tasty and well cooked. Salmon is delicious. Shrimp tempura rolls are amazing. Great price range for all .

Delicious food and prompt service. Although it's a fast-food style restaurant, the dining area is comfortable, modern, and clean. The food quality is excellent. They offer a concise menu featuring sushi and stir-fry dishes. View menu

I've ordered from here before, and it's not the best restaurant. The chicken had a sour taste, and parts of it were dry and overcooked. It might be worth spending a little more at a different restaurant for a better experience.

The worst California roll. Salmon and spicy rolls are mediocre at best. Was hoping to discover a ?favorite? quick Japanese food /poke bowl place to pick up on the way from work. It didn?t make the cut. Perhaps the poke bowls are much better. Will give it a try one more time.

My order arrived faster than I anticipated, and now I understand why! The food seemed like it had been sitting out for a while, and the taste reflected that. The chicken was greasy and tasted stale, the rice was cold, and the vegetables lacked freshness. I'm definitely disappointed that I didn’t receive fresh food. View menu

The Shrimp Tempura rolls are delicious and the chicken and shrimp was cooked just right with the perfect taste. The only minor thing is it could used a little more vegetables also they need to add a little bit more shrimp next time. The California rolls were good and the soy sauce added even more flavorful to everything.

This Quickway location could use a lot of improvements. The chicken was dry and overcooked, the rice was average, and the sushi was poorly made—it fell apart every time I tried to pick it up. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I hope they can address these issues and make some changes. Generally, Quickway has been my favorite, but this location doesn't compare at all.

"This place really helped me adjust. I later learned that people gravitate towards certain bars, and I found my favorites, especially those with live music like Birchmere, Black Cat, 9:30 Club, Lincoln, Capital One Arena, and even the now-closed O'Shaughnessy's and Rock & Roll Hotel. One of my most memorable experiences was running into Rory Sheridan on one of my first visits. He was launching his DC music campaign back then and was part of Loud Boyz. We chatted a few times, and I even caught up with some old classmates. Another highlight was when I heard about a “reunion” night before Thanksgiving, and I decided to crash it. There were moments where people could be unkind or I felt out of place, but I was given some guidance on where I would fit in better, without the unnecessary drama. Being in Old Town, I was familiar with nearby schools like West Potomac, Mount Vernon, and Bishop Ireton. During my visits, I would often take an Alexandria cab or use Metro Access, being discreet about my disability since I felt embarrassed at times. Being a regular meant navigating the tourist scene, and there were people who seemed territorial about the place, but I ended up doing quite well when I sold my house. Good times continued with events like watching RG3 play for the Redskins or meetups organized by JT. I enjoyed New Year’s celebrations and weekend outings. I also frequented other establishments like Flying Fish before it closed, and O'Shaughnessy's before I decided to stop drinking. This is a sports bar located near a bicycle shop, close to the Ben & Jerry's I used to work at, along with many other walkable bars for bar hopping, like Union Street Pub and Fish Market. It can be a great place to have fun, but with the good comes some downsides. Overall, I felt well-hosted and respected here, despite some things I was not initially aware of or didn’t want to uncover."
