Bambino's has definitely become our new favorite pizza place in the Northwoods. Knockers in St. Germain is still a strong second choice. We ordered a Hog Heaven for takeout tonight…

"I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant when I went for an early Friday night fish fry. The host greeted us and gave us the option of having a drink at the bar first or being seated, which I thought was a nice touch. We chose to be seated and were impressed by the quick and friendly service. The staff worked together seamlessly, and our server even gave me a menu of their drink specials when I asked about them. I decided to try the Carmel apple martini, which was served with a cinnamon cookie and was absolutely delicious. It was a great deal at $8. My guest had a beer and we both ordered the standard fish fry for $14. I got mine with a baked potato and my guest chose the hash browns. The dinners were outstanding with attention to small details. The fish was tender and lightly battered, the tartar sauce was homemade with dill, and the cole slaw was fresh and well-seasoned. My baked potato was perfectly cooked and my guest enjoyed the hash browns. Even though we were served some bread, we were too full to try it because our meals were so filling. Other tables around us were enjoying ribs, shrimp, and chicken, which all looked delicious and came with a choice of soup or salad. I heard they also have a fantastic Sunday brunch that I plan to try soon. If you're in the Northwoods area, I highly recommend checking out this restaurant."

"Hostess was rude and a bully. Her name was Lee. Our waitress Melissa was confused, harried, and overwhelmed with 16 patrons and other tables. Our salad we're pre made and look sad only choice of dressing was ranch and french. We were not provided rolls or allowed to use salad bar. We could only order a limited menu. Got drinks after salad and no rolls. One of us wanted a loaded bake potato and was told to go to the salad bar. The hostess scolded them for using salad bar. Sadly, our meals were all delicious. Even though we got no choice in how to cook our ribeye steaks. They were all medium rate. We received no drink refills. Our bills took 30 minutes to calculate. Melissa was pleasant throughout. Parking: Very limited. We have been visiting this restaurant once a year for 20 yrs but will not be coming back Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Ribeye and Stuffed Shrimp Parking space: Difficult to find parking Parking options: Free street parking"

"I was really excited about trying the food here based on other reviews and photos I had seen here. I took myself, my Mom and my Dad here last Sunday. The waitress was very nice as well as the bartender, but the food left everything to be desired. My Mom ordered the fried chicken that was on special but found it to have an off pudding taste to it and was unable to eat it. (They did take it off the bill). My Dad order the chicken dumplings soup and found that it lacked all flavor and only contained on small dumpling. He also had the breakfast burger with Fries and found it to be very bland. I had the bacon Mac N cheese which was actually pretty good. Unfortunately the brisket I had added to it was terrible, just a shredded mess of BBQ soaked beef that looked like it was 5 days old and tasted about the same. I also had the Parmesan fries that were unfortunately delivered to the table cold and just appeared to have some Parmesan cheese dusted over them. They might have been good if they were hot and maybe had enough oil left on them so the cheese would stick, but that was not the case. Overall the food experience dragged what otherwise might have been a fun time, down down down and we left disappointed to say the least. I hope anyone reading this who chooses to go there has a better experience than us is all I can say at this point."
