"This restaurant is Green Cove Springs hidden gem! You would at first bypass it, because its so unassuming as you drive by but inside it is large, bright and immaculate! You're immediately greeted with a warm smile and a big hello! The dtaff/owners are simply down to earth and so very kind they treat you like an honored guest. We started with their homemade hummus topped with sliced garlic in olive oil and served with warm, fresh pita bread. It was creamy, well seasoned with the perfect amount of garlic. Hands down the best hummus I have ever tasted! The portion was large enough for three of us. We also shared an order of fried kibbeh and it did not disappoint! Served on a bed of fresh tomato slices. It was hot, crispy and delicious with so much flavor the perfect accompaniment with the hummus. For our meal we ordered the lamb gyros and a falafel wrap. (Since our daughter is vegan we live that the menu made it easy to discern which items are vegan by denoting them with a green font and there is a very nice selection of vegetarian/vegan items to select from). The sandwiches are large, the pita bread warm and soft and it is piled high with deliciousness! I do highly recommend getting the sides of tabouli made with fresh parsley, cucumbers tomatoes tossed in lemon juice olive oil just an ideal, light summer salad! We also had the orzo salad and its equally as delicious with a tasty sprinkling of feta cheese. Both salads paired perfectly with our sandwiches and compliments the gyros well.Lastly, we heard rave reviews about their homemade strawberry shortcake and decided to get an order to go. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! It was heavenly, just like grandma used to make! Delicious sweetened strawberries served over a lightly sweet shortcake with lots of whipped cream.. i HIGHLY recommend leaving room for this delectable treat! Please, if you're in the area, give them a try this restaurant will not disappoint!"
