"Overall, the food was quite good, and the service was decent. However, I wasn't impressed with the Tommy Lee roll, which I found to be somewhat off-putting in flavor. Everything else I tried was delicious, especially the heart roll, which is my favorite. I would have rated this place five stars, but we had to ask for napkins, plates, and utensils after our appetizer arrived, which was a bit frustrating. Additionally, the bathrooms were in poor condition—there was no soap and one of the toilets was out of order. Given that the restaurant wasn't very crowded, it shouldn't have been difficult to keep things in better order."

Food was good! Service sucked! Asked for a beer, eventually served in a Styrofoam cup, said wa out of glasses. Asked for another beer, waited, waited, never came instead gave me the check. Won't be back strictly due to service.

First n probably the last time I go here. The rolls were just rolls with stuff piled up on top of them.. presentation was great until the pile of toppings... not so great. I had jigh hopes but I was not pleased. Waitress was good. Kikkoman soy sauce was to salty so probably not Kikkoman.. just put in the bottles.

The sushi is fine. When I moved to Memphis I expected that I would have a hard time getting good food. But the roll itself was a disaster. It looked like a child rolled it. The rice was falling off and uneven. The tuna inside was half out of the roll. Like I said it was fine. It tasted ok, but they need a new sushi chef

I definitely enjoy her food. I wish they could have warmed up the veranda so they had more space in social distance. We had a table in the middle of the floor and the people went through us all the time, it was simply impossible not to affect the whole meal. But our service was amazing. The food was really good. And we like not to come here in such busy hours. View menu

If you are a sashimi purist, don 't bother. Photo is of their tuna and salmon sashimi . The atmosphere was cool, the waitstaff was awesome, but the food wasn 't up to par for me personally. They did give me half off my check so they are good humans. UPDATE: The owner Craig asked me to email him which I did the day I received his reply. He has still yet to respond. Speaks volumes…..

After 25 minutes, our main courses arrived, but we still hadn't received our appetizers. When we inquired about them, the waiter informed us that they were still on the way. In the meantime, the owner was still busy with the wall. Finally, our appetizers arrived 20 minutes after our meals. On a positive note, the food was excellent (though I did find my wasabi stuck under my roll). Our waiter, Jayden, was fantastic throughout the experience.

Sushi took FOREVER to get to our table with only 3 guests in the restaurant and it was shredded. It was cut unevenly and just falling to pieces when it was brought out, clearly the chef staff was left alone untrained for the job. The Gyoza was undercooked which was gross, but the edemame was good. Our server was completely overwhelmed despite only having 3 tables. Also, despite being quite expensive, our food was brought on chipped plates with plastic soy sauce cups. View menu

We waited an hour for our sushi, because there was a huge catering order. It would have been nice to know that before we ordered. During our wait, the server didn't stop by except to drop off our appetizer. We had to ask for drink refills. When we finally got our food, it was very good and the manager comped our sushi, which was the only reason we continued to wait. Please just be honest and communicate with your customers about timing, and maybe don't do catering orders in the middle of lunch!

First visit. You have a nice terrace with a fan, but the TV does not work. Server said it was for a month. Best Buy and Target Way away! Get a new TV! Ordered 2 alcoholic beverages, but also could not taste the alcohol. The taste was good. Food came to a decent time. The server noticed a hair on my plate and took it back before I even saw it. Regrettably, but good catch. They gave me my food. Had fried something called Prima Donna Rolls. The outside was hot, but the meat was cold. Still tasted good. Also the Jalapeno stuff was good. Overall, it was decent.

"Quality not what it used to be. A year ago or so I wrote a reviewing liking this location. We got our usual to go this time (much like other times) and when my husband got home I was incredibly dissapointed. He said they were busy and looked disarrayed but it doesn't give them an excuse for giving us ****. The bartender ignored my husband when he tried to tell them he was there to pick up and saw the order come out and only after our order was sitting there for a while did he finally ask what he was there for. Now that's whatever as long as this pregnant lady gets her food. I eagerly open the box and what do I find? A few sweet potato fries, the avocado smothered on the burger soaking the bun, and no pickle. The bun was falling apart as soon as I tried to pick it up so I ate it with a fork and knife. Even the sauce cup barely had any sauce but enough I guess for the meager portion of fries I got! This makes me sad as we're regulars. That will no longer be true.<br/ <br/ <br/ 01 Aug, 2014 <br/ <br/ West coast burger sweet potato fries. I have gotten the west coast burger and sweet potato fries every single time I've gone there and my boyfriend has now copied my choice. I'm sure the other burgers are good too but if I have a craving for Huey's, that's what I get. Their onion rings are also good and huge but they are the type that the onion slips straight out of the breading. The lemon box cake thing made me very happy. If you want to go to any Huey's, the midtown location is the one to go to! Don't go to the downtown site. They were really rude both times we stopped by to get a to go order when we were on our bikes."
