"A large group of us traveled to Boston, with 6 adults and 6 children. When we arrived at a pizza place on the north side at 2:00, we found it closed for the holiday. We then went to Rodey's, just a block away, and we were so glad we did. It is a classic pizzeria restaurant with a large menu. The owners worked and served us our food and drinks, even going next door to fill a cup of ice for us. I loved it - the pizza had a firm crust and was hand-tossed, the salads were large and beautiful, and there were many delicious sub options. I would definitely stop by again. - Allie from Florida"

Perfect neighborhood pizzeria. Everyone is so nice and food is always great. Calzones are HUGGGGE. Also they put fries on pizza so that gets five stars on its own.

Amazing pizza!! The service was excellent as well! Perfect option for a late-night meal before heading back home last night. I would definitely revisit this restaurant!

I visited Rodey's before going to a concert. I ordered the special slice of pizza with a beer for $9.99. I had a good feeling about it since the restaurant was packed with police officers having dinner. The pizza was delicious and the staff was very kind.

We stopped into Rodey's Pizzeria after attending a concert at the TD Garden. It was clean and the food was delicious. I got the chicken alfredo and others got a pizza to share. I'd recommend it as a good place to grab a bite before a night out on the town. View menu

I recently tried the delicious combination of chicken club sandwiches at the Boston Bruin, a sit-down restaurant near North Station. Many other nearby restaurants have closed or only offer takeout, making this a great option for a sit-down meal while visiting the Museum of Science.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while walking to the museum of science and were pleasantly surprised. Being from Colorado and visiting infrequently after moving away 10 years ago, we really appreciate the delicious New England cuisine. This restaurant did not disappoint in the flavor department. We wish we could come back for more.

I decided to try Rodey for the first time before a Bruins game in Boston. Despite the quiet and empty atmosphere when we arrived, the warm welcome from the older woman working there convinced me to stay. I ordered a chicken parm pizza, which was delicious. The woman even took the time to check if I enjoyed it before we left. I will definitely be returning to Rodey in the future. View menu

Look it’s not five star but it’s not trying to be either but it’s a great place to go after big night out and equally a great place to get a ‘morning after’ feed in order to recover from the night before.....I went in there yesterday with a stinking hangover and the the Double Burger with Loaded Fries and I felt fine when I left......next time I’m in town I’ll be back for more greasy goodness

This is a great local spot nice menu, super reasonable prices, friendly people and great food. We ordered from here a couple of times while staying near the garden recently and were very pleased. We tried the wings, pizza and cheesecake. Everything was ready within 20 min (which on a Sat night is unheard of in Boston) and very reasonable. Nothing fancy but just what we needed without going too far from the hotel

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
