Had a bad old oil smell in the restaurant. I ordered a shrimp roll and 4 musabi'. I would not order the roll again but the musabi' was good.

This place is amazing for sushi and the service is great. I called 15 minutes after closing not realizing and they still took my to go order. Definitely recommend coming here.

Personally I recommend Japanese Blossom restaurant in Chico or The Rice Bowl. I enjoy the sushi and the atmosphere of Japanese Blossom restaurant. Sakura Sushi changed hands about a year ago or so and was a great sushi place. Just not the same now. Thanks.

Had the Magalia roll add cream cheese cream cheese wontons. Good food, close to home, and the wait is never too long. Not the best sushi I've ever had in my life but for this place to be in the mountains away from the ocean I will not complain. Portions are good, prices are fare I dig it. I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The food I ordered was delicious with no surprises or mistakes. The service was efficient and the food arrived quickly. The booths reminded me of an old Denny's restaurant with taped up upholstery, but overall it was a great atmosphere. I would recommend this place for a dinner outing, with prices ranging from $30-50 per person. I would rate the food a 5, service a 4, and atmosphere a 3.

In addition to their regular menu, they have a dedicated vegetarian menu that features plenty of meatless options for both vegetarians and vegans.
