"Sally's is a culinary adventure that you won't soon forget. This unique spot, blending Caribbean and Japanese cuisines, creates an experience that's both exciting and comforting. It's a place where classic meets inventive, and the result is absolutely to die for.The menu is a delightful fusion of flavors that will leave you torn between options. I'm usually stuck between the rich, flavorful ramen and the succulent oxtail rice bowl. Both dishes are masterfully crafted, with layers of taste that dance on your palate. The creativity doesn't stop at the food, though. The mixed drinks are so delicious, refreshing, and well-balanced that you'll find yourself sipping and savoring for hours on end. Be careful, though; the fun atmosphere and tasty beverages can easily turn a quick meal into an all-night affair with friends.Speaking of atmosphere, Sally's has all the vibes you could want. Inside, the decor is cute, bright, and colorful, creating a lively and energetic ambiance. The excellent music selection adds to the mood, making it a place where you'll want to linger and enjoy the surroundings. If you prefer outdoor dining, the outside area is spacious and accommodating, perfect for a big group of friends to hang out and relax for as long as you want. What really sets Sally's apart is the seamless blend of two distinct culinary traditions. The combination of Caribbean warmth and Japanese precision creates a dining experience that's both familiar and novel. It's a place where you can explore new flavors while still finding comfort in well-loved classics. The question I always forget to ask is if they're related to Sally Roots in Bushwick."

The flavors were fantastic but the portions were a bit small for the price.

The pork belly jerk rice bowl was excellent, and the music was great as well!

Decent spot to eat. Closes early. Kinda hard to get a drink sometimes, but good cocktails.

Sally's Sloppy Burger: 10/10 I won't lie, I was a bit let down that the burger didn't come with fries, but it was so delicious that I can easily overlook that, Sally.

Beware of the 20% tip included on the bill. I almost ended up giving them another 20% . But noticed a small discreet light printed tip includedFood decent, one dish too salty but rest was yummyBeautiful people there View menu

I found the curry sauce to be delicious, but the vegetables were undercooked. I'm not a fan of hard potatoes. The oxtail dumplings did not meet my high expectations - the meat inside was a bit dry and needed more seasoning.

Even if you aren't a fan of spicy food, Sally's is still worth a visit. The pulled pork tacos and tuna tostadas could use some improvement - the pork was hard to taste in the taco and it was soggy, and there was too much cream and seaweed on the tuna tostadas. However, the oxtail short rib dumplings and crab rangoon are consistently delicious. While I didn't order the fried rice this time, it is usually quite good too.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
