"**Ambience:** Charming **Service:** Good **Food:** Excellent **Price:** Affordable Tucked away off the bustling Bobby Jones Expressway, this standalone restaurant features a private parking lot, making it a convenient stop, even when it gets busy. Upon entering, you're greeted by a host who will seat you, though be prepared for a possible wait during peak hours. Our server was friendly and offered helpful recommendations for drinks and dishes. The menu is filled with enticing options, many written in Spanish, so be sure to check out the detailed descriptions in the extensive menu. We started our meal with complimentary salsa and chips, which set the tone for what was to come. My friend ordered the chicken quesadilla served with beans and rice, all presented on a sizzling hot plate. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the rice and beans complemented the dish beautifully. I opted for the NEW tropical ceviche, featuring a delightful mix of fish and shrimp, paired with sweet pineapples, juicy mangoes, fresh onions, peppers, and cilantro. It was absolutely delicious and refreshing—a perfect light dish for dinner. I enjoyed it with some crunchy saladitas and my own vibrant salsa and chips. It's been years since I last visited this place, and it's seen me through various relationships—both beginnings and endings. But today? I'm officially a fan!"

We always have an amazing experience at this Mexican restaurant. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, the service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. It's our favorite spot whenever we visit family in Augusta!

The food at this restaurant is excellent and service was fast and friendly. We got the Tuesday special pitcher and thought it was okay so we ordered second one and was so tipsy we live in Atlanta but every time we're in Augusta, we will be at this restaurant. They won't disappoint!

Not bad, not great. I'm from Atlanta and the Mexican food scene there is 100% better than anything I've been able to find in Augusta. This place has been the closest I can find to decent cuisine. The food can be hit or miss and sometimes way too salty. Service can be slow too. 3 out of 5 stars IMO! View menu

Quality, taste and serving size of food has diminished. Chicken breast with too much fat and served in chunks instead of slices in which the meat is dry. Small amount of cheese sauce which is runny with no flavor punch to add that great taste to the dish. Last few experiences has not been a pleasure.

Our server, Louie, was fantastic and provided excellent recommendations that were spot on. The music created a lovely atmosphere at just the right volume for conversation. The shrimp burrito was succulent and delicious, and the beans and rice were incredible. I highly recommend this place, especially because the margaritas are exceptional!

Food: Had the birria tacos, chori dip, and classic chimichanga. Drink: 1/2 pitcher Texas margarita and peach margarita both on the rocks. The food was seasoned well and hot. The drinks were good. My first time there and I will definitely be going back to try something different. The service was good for us. It didn't take long to get service in the beginning as well as follow up on our needs. The food was well seasoned and just packed full of flavor. I will say that the beans and rice were cold, so they weren't as enjoyable but still tasted good. I did sit outside on a windy day, but I didn't necessarily mind because we got to order pretty quickly. I will say the servers were as quick as possible considering we went when it was busy. Would I go back again yes, but hopefully the food will be warmer.

We use to come here all the time and was our go-to spot for Mexican food before venturing out to all the other spots around the city. 10 years ago I would have given this place 5 stars but since finding out most places are better I can 't say this is not a good spot but it 's not the greatest. Food was ok, no complaints but again I would go to any of the other spots nearby if I 'm in the mood for good Mexican food. I always love the chips and salsa at most places but this salsa was spicy, definitely not something my kids would eat had they been with my wife and I. For a place called Salsas it doesn 't have a strong salsa game. We always get queso dip wherever we goand this was almost store b...

"Hands down the best food I've had in Augusta. In Augusta for work, and have been trying out various restaurants with the work crew. This place I is the first that had me saying I'm coming back. EVERYTHING was good! Seating is limited and there was a short (10min) then from there it's either buffet style or takeout option. We dined in, which gave me a chance to sample EVERYTHING. I started with the salmon in lemon sauce. Not overcooked and just delicious. This was my favorite. Seconds were had. Next up was the fried pork loin. Probably my least favorite protein but still good. I'm not much of a pork person and still enjoyed. Then the barbeque chicken. This..was..good. seasoned to the bone. For sides, there was some corn and lima beans and plain rice. After this, we had the beef gumbo. The gumbo truth be told was more a soup. For me gumbo needs to be a little thicker...heartier. Whatever you want to call it delicious. The beef was seasoned well, tender and the broth flavoured with okras. There was also a salad bar, and I just had a fresh salad. Typical salad toppings with some.black olives and jalapenos to spice it up a little. Not sure about the dressing, I did without. Then everything was topped off with the peach cobbler. I enjoyed this as well, probably because it was not overly sweet. But I know people are passionate about their cobbler, so opinions will very. All in all, I'm definitely going back and look forward to different daily dishes. We were told when leaving tomorrow (Friday) is fried chicken day."
