Sam's To Go - Menu

One of the best burgers in Santa Barbara. They can customize it however you would like; with mushrooms, avocado, or grilled onions. The prices are really good for the quality of burger and fresh ingredients. The lunch service is fast and a great place to grab lunches.

I got a turkey, ham, salami and cheese, and it was packed with meat. The sandwich was delicious. Definitely coming back. I thought I ordered the one with avocado which is why I took the picture the way I did, but realized it was the number next to the one I ordered. I exchanged the bacon for the salami.

Love the veggie options they have on their sandwich menu. Lots to choose from and when I asked for extra lettuce they definitely delivered. The order was ready so quickly with fresh ingredients and yummy bread. I also appreciate the fries which were crispy and perfectly salted. This is definitely a go to deli for me! View menu

Sam's To Go is a pretty good sandwich place. Everything about it is good. The menu is basic sandwich but there is nothing special about it. That being said if I was ever in the area and wanted a sandwich I would stop in knowing what I'm going to get. A good sandwich for a good price and a baseline of quality you can count on.

The old lady is rude. I told the girl making my sandwich that I wanted cheese and avocado. Apparently she didn 't hear me so I told her just as she was wrapping my sandwich. The old lady scolded me and loudly said, you should have told her before! I said I did! I should have walked out and gone elsewhere instead of patronizing a place with such a rude person.

I had a great experience at this restaurant with its delicious and affordable sandwiches. The recipe for their sandwiches is simple - lettuce, tomato, mustard, mayo, and patty or burger. It doesn't get much easier than that! I don't need to know every detail of how the sandwich is made, I just need to answer two questions when I go to a sandwich shop: 1. What kind of sandwich do I want? 2. Am I paying with cash or card? It's as simple as that.

I absolutely adore Sam's To Go. I have visited the Hollister location twice, as well as the one in IV. Every time I indulge in one of their incredible sandwiches, I find myself thinking about it for days on end. The sandwiches are huge, soft, and packed with delicious ingredients - an absolute dream for any sub sandwich enthusiast. It is extremely rare that I write a review without actually visiting in person. My sister somehow got my hooked on this small, local sandwich chain. I had seen its various locations (Isla Vista, Santa Barbara 's Mesa and Goleta) and always wanted to check it out; yet leave it to my sister from out of town to introduce me to it. Twice she has ordered take-out sandwiches at lunch time for us. Their sandwich menu is nutso with 36 creations to choose from, including several that are vegetarian.
