"There was no hostess to greet us when we got there. There was a crowd of confusion with the customers in the waiting area. The owner finally came to sit us for our reservation at (and the lights in the restaurant were turned on as if it were and sunny) and she just took menus to a table never telling us to follow her. We sat down, there were no servers walking around, we sat at the table for without even our drink order being taken. We decided to leave before any more disappointment. I will not return I would not recommend!"

Branzino with Panang curry. Crab fried rice. Clay pot noodles with shrimp. Duck plate. All really good. Delicious meal. Very very happy!

Samui was a great find! It's in an up and coming location which makes sense as to why not many people have seen it but it's well worth it. Great food, drinks and table service. I highly recommend.

Great food but on the expensive side. for pineapple fried rice with a few pieces of fried duck. love the décor. Service started out very slow and after I let them know, the service was much better. View menu

Devastatingly disappointing. Reserved a table for our anniversary at on a Friday night. Arrived bang on time. Gruffly seated and then ignored by every server, employee, and I believe, even the owner. Of course I cannot confirm after minutes of complete invisibility, we decided to depart and divert to a most enjoyable experience a short walk away at Gentleman Farmer.

Nice ambiance, but the food was unfortunately very poor. Nothing tasted fresh, it all tasted like everything had been either frozen or sitting around for days. We had fired fish, the fish smelt old and had the consistency of being fried hours earlier it was soggy not crispy. For the prices they are asking they need to get their food or chef together or they won't last long.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
