"I had the pecan-crusted chicken accompanied by steamed broccoli and potatoes, and it was perfect. If you're concerned about sugar, make sure to ask for the caramel apple sauce on the side. Due to allergies to shellfish, fish, seafood, and beef, I found that 2/3 of the entrees and appetizers were off-limits for me. The excellent bread served with warm butter was a highlight. One of my sisters ordered the crab cake onion soup, and it was deliciously free of any seafood. Other sisters opted for the salmon risotto and the seafood platter, both of which were fantastic. The service was outstanding as well. David, our server, was incredible—he kept our water glasses filled, answered all our questions, took a family photo, and refilled the bread bowl without being intrusive. He was truly wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

"One member of our group ordered a Reuben sandwich, and he raved about how good it was, as he’s quite a fan of Reubens. He also got a baked potato, which was perfectly sized—not too large—and fully cooked. It's important to note that the Yellow Tavern is strictly a tavern and bar, so anyone under 21 is not permitted inside. We witnessed several families with children being informed they couldn’t stay, so keep that in mind if you're planning a visit. The atmosphere of the place is charming, with a lot of character, and the staff was fantastic—very helpful, friendly, and a lot of fun to interact with. Overall, we had a great time. "Whenever we travel, we always search for a coffee shop. During our stay at Harmonie State Park, we stumbled upon this gem located just 5-10 minutes away from the park. It is a small coffee shop next to the US Post Office, so be sure to keep an eye out for the post office as the shop's sign can be easy to miss. Despite having a small menu, the shop prides itself on offering elegantly crafted beverages. We tried the cold brew and an overshake, both of which were delicious. Alex, the barista, was very friendly and we would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area."

"I opted for the Mahi Mahi with mango salsa and garlic rice. While the fish was slightly overcooked, it was still bursting with flavor. Cooking fish can be quite tricky, so I didn’t mind the minor error. The mango salsa paired wonderfully with the Mahi Mahi, and the garlic rice was a fantastic addition. The highlight of the evening was when we ordered a special birthday dessert. Earlier in the week, I had coordinated with Alisha to arrange something unique for my girlfriend. We were treated to the most decadent tiramisu we’ve ever experienced, freshly made for that night. It was the perfect conclusion to a wonderful meal. If I could suggest one improvement to enhance the dining experience, it would be to adjust the music and overall ambiance to align better with the menu. A more intimate setting with jazz music, instead of the local radio station, would create a lovely atmosphere. Overall, MaryScotts is a delightful gem in this charming, historic town. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting New Harmony."

"The service took over an hour and a half to deliver our food, which arrived cold. Although they reheated it for us, the prime rib was 60% fat and extremely overpriced. Additionally, the towel holder in the women's bathroom was broken. I understand they were short-staffed, but the long wait and poor food quality were disappointing. Overall, my experience was very unsatisfactory, and I would not recommend this restaurant or return in the future."
