"The reviews for Sc House are quite varied. The food was average—nothing truly exceptional. We tried the pork chive leek buns, which were served very hot but unfortunately lacked flavor, missing that essential taste typical of good pork buns. I had to add vinegar just to enhance the taste. Next, I ordered the sautéed BBQ lamb served on a sizzling hot plate, accompanied by white rice. While the dish looked and smelled tempting, the taste fell short. It was overly greasy and lacked significant flavor. The portion size was medium to large, making it suitable for sharing. On a positive note, it's BYOB and dog-friendly on the patio."

Never try this restaurant. Very expensive and salty. I really doubt whether they hired a chef or not. Spicy hot pot charge for $35, but received very small size dish with only several shrimps, almost no meat.

Found a hair on the bottom of rice bowl. The food we ordered was below average. They put way too much peppercorns than red pepper in dishes. The restroom is nasty, and no paper towel. Won’t come back anymore. But still tipped 15% for lunch.

The restaurant leans towards the pricier side, and the portions are on the smaller side. Despite this, I give it a 5-star rating because the food is truly authentic and incredibly delicious. The noodles have a spicy kick, and the broth is outstanding. View menu

Very flavorful and authentic food. Got the dry pot pork intestines, szechuan chicken, green beans, and scallion pancakes. My group loved all those dishes and I want to go back and explore the menu further. Super delicious and affordable! The patio wasso nice as well.

I discovered a hair in the bottom of my rice bowl, and overall, the food we ordered was disappointing. The dishes were overloaded with peppercorns, which completely masked the flavor of the red pepper. The restroom was in poor condition, and there were no paper towels available. I don’t plan to return to this restaurant. That said, I did leave a 15% tip for lunch.

The food at this restaurant is bursting with flavor and truly authentic. We tried the dry pot pork intestines, Szechuan chicken, green beans, and scallion pancakes, and my group loved every single dish. I'm excited to come back and sample more items from the menu. Everything was incredibly delicious and very reasonably priced! Additionally, the patio area was wonderful as well. View menu

The food was fantastic and the portion sizes were excellent for the price. Service was quick too. I had the Chongqing street noodles and the eggplant in garlic sauce. While I really liked the noodles, the eggplant didn't quite suit my taste. The ambiance is charming! Just a heads-up, there's only metered parking near the restaurant, so it's wise to plan ahead. Thankfully, when we went on Sunday, there were plenty of parking spaces available.

I wholeheartedly recommend Sc House to anyone interested in authentic Asian cuisine. We tried the chicken, pork intestine, and jellyfish, and every dish was superb. The portion sizes were generous and fairly priced. The standout was the new home-style chicken recipe, which was simply delicious, and the customer service was outstanding. And I can't forget about the dessert—buns with condensed milk. They were amazing! I particularly enjoyed the fried buns.

"Update: 4/10/2022 Came here recently with my wife on our way back from Philly. Hadn’t been here since the pandemic and was pleasantly surprised to see that this place was still here. Ordered the same thing I always do and quality is still good. I’m so glad this little gem of a place is still in business. Prices have gone up a little but so has everything and most restaurants since the pandemic. A hidden gem. Ok, so it’s not one of those fancy Tokyo or New York quality sushi but then again, you’re not paying $500 for dinner (per person) either. I always eat the same thing here — the battered squid dinner plate or lunch, if you’re having it at lunch, with a squid roll and it comes with salad, too. My wife orders the Sushi Boy A or B. It’s a combo plate of such I. And there are lots of other great choices. So far, everyone I’ve taken there, really like the sushi. By the way, my wife is Japanese and she loves sushi (she knows what’s authentic and what’s not). I’ve been to so many of those all-you-can-eat sushi buffet joints where you pay anywhere from $12-20 per person but always end up disappointed. No one would expect to find this place...It’s in a hidden food court surrounded by stores like Gymboree and offices, etc near the Westin hotel in the Princeton Forrestal Village square. While it may be off the beaten path, this place will not disappoint. I’ve been going there for at least 7 years."
