"I enjoyed one of the best Reubens I've ever had, accompanied by delicious sweet potato fries and a fantastic hand-battered fish and chips. The corned beef rivaled my Irish wife's, but let's keep that between us. The chips could use a little improvement, though. The service was outstanding and very accommodating. The seating was comfortable, the music was great, and the atmosphere was nice, although there was a faint smell of cigarette smoke lingering in the air."

We used to visit frequently when it was Cavanaugh's and would love to return. Do you have any booths available for seating, or is it all tables?

We've been regulars since you opened and we left in 2006. Now we're back visiting our son and planning to come for lunch tomorrow. Some places truly leave a lasting impression! Food: 5/5

The decorations are fantastic, and the fries and mozzarella sticks are incredible. My husband was nearly overwhelmed by how delicious the burgers are. I would definitely recommend this place! View menu

Most of the time, the service is fantastic. They are incredibly perceptive, humorous, and organized. Both the meal and the price are consistently excellent. Absolutely delicious cuisine! Recommended

Great spot for a drink and a bite. Cruis between Irish bar and B-Dubs. Top notch, friendly, attentive service. We had chicken nuggets. I like traditional wings, so it's hard for me to ever rate those very high. I'd definitely come back. Dog friendly patio.Food: 4/5

My son and I were craving fish and chips, and after seeing positive reviews for this restaurant, we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed! The fish is cod, and it had very little breading on the outside, which allowed the generous portion of white cod inside to really shine. Everything was delicious! View menu

I visited this restaurant with my girlfriend and had a wonderful time. The St. Patrick's Day atmosphere was fantastic. I ordered the fish and chips; while it may not have been the best I've ever had, it was certainly far from the worst. It was enjoyable enough for 'bar food' if that makes sense. The prices were quite reasonable, especially compared to other places on or near the Strip.

wasn't even there for 5 minutes and left. my boyfriend and i just wanted to stop somewhere for dinner and drinks, we wanted to sit at the bar. apparently you have to gamble to sit at the bar? when we explained that we were sitting at that spot we didn't wanna be directly next to anyone and the waitress looked at us like we were stupid and explained that they have other tables available when it wasn't even that busy. ridiculous.

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
