"Came here a second time after enjoying lunch with a coworker. I came in on a Sunday and the service and food was completely different. Cashier was rude and when he forgot my churros, he accused me of lying bc I had left the restaurant (with my to-go order), went to my car, and returned 5-10 minutes later when my husband noticed the churros missing. The churros were $7. Like how desperate do you think a person is to lie to get 3 extra churros? Just admit he forgot and replace them. As well, I ordered a double meat steak burrito and it was smaller than the regular burrito. How? I also ordered steak tacos and was given pork. There is an up charge for steak and you forgot it, but I'm trying to finesse $7 worth of churros? Won't be back. Save your money."

Omg these tacos are sooo good... And am really grateful to the lady working there who brought my meal out so I didn't have to take my sleeping little one out of her car seat. Thank you!!

The kimchi fried rice was satisfactory. The restaurant felt a bit neglected, as the soap dispenser in the bathroom was detached and lying on the sink. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but nothing stood out as particularly special.

Had the tofu tacos. Delicious. Busy because of the lunch rush but the food came out in a timely fashion. It's nice they have a touchscreen ordering computer and a person behind the counter to expedite ordering. And the tacos were amazingly good! Simple ordering procedure but delicious food. View menu

The sweet potatoes were completely burnt—wow! (See photo.) It seemed like they were soaked in oil and fried two or three times, as if they had been left over and re-fried. Honestly, they were so hard that you could break a tooth on them. The tacos were also cold. Please do something about this!

The real standout for me was the sweet potato waffle; it was a phenomenal delight, offering a warm and sweet burst of flavor. I expected everything to run smoothly, but I was disappointed by the behavior of a woman at the register who seemed quite restless. I hope she can receive some feedback to improve her customer service skills. Overall, the food was amazing, the equipment was clean, and I truly believe this restaurant has great potential to thrive.

I ordered food online for pickup last evening at the Hyde park location. I was told my order was coming up when I spoke to the cashier. 15min later, She waved me over for an order that wasn't mine and I told her the correct name. 25min later I decide to walk up to the counter and there my order is just sitting. The young lady seemed really disengaged and was not alerting ppl that their takeout orders were ready. My food was cooled down and I didn't get the cheese that I paid 3$extra for. View menu

I have visited this Korean fusion site for a few years, and I really enjoy the Gogi bowl with spicy pork, replacement frying. it has salate greens in it so that they do not feel too bad to get something healthy for fast eating. Just make sure they mix it well, because there is a bucking gochujang spicy sauce, which gets stuck there somewhere, and when they meet it at the end, it will be a very intense meal from there! the order is super uncomplicated, there are plenty of seats. parking is metered on the street. I think if you're ready to run a few blocks, you can probably sniff a few neighboring parking places.

Ok, so they tast GOOD but they have run out of supplies (beef, beans) 3 time on me over 1 year. So they're not consistent, this reflects poor management. Also the employees seem laxidasical, the don't seem to care that they can't manage because they may feel like I need their good tasting food more than they need my patronage. All I'm trying to say is don't expect much from this location and be ready to cancel your order to go somewhere else because they will probably disappoint.... you've been warned (but they did give me the option to cancel or get something else... question is what if I wanted what I ordered at the time they promised ... this is why I gave then 3 insteadvof 1 star)

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
