"Good ramen. Noodles and eggs were cooked perfectly but the broth was a bit on the bland side. We got the tonkatsu ramen and miso ramen (chili paste on the side).Chicken Katsu was very crispy and well seasoned. The meat was a bit stringy though. I think it was fried too long.Service wise: it took awhile for the server to greet our table after being seated. We were there on a Friday lunch when it wasn’t busy.Throughout most of our meal, the hostess paced back and forth by our table while reading a book. It didn’t seem to be safe as she could’ve run into a server carrying food out of the kitchen. Seems very odd that the manager would allow this behavior while guests are dining."

Excellent ramen. I always go for the spicy miso and have them add extra fish cake. Japanese chicken is also delicious.

Best ramen EVER! I've tried ramen all over the United States – from Little Tokyo in LA to Japantown in San Francisco and beyond. This place had the most incredible ramen; I should have ordered five bowls!

It was bustling on a Tuesday, and I now understand why. The service was fantastic—they assisted me in choosing the perfect bottle of sake. The food was excellent as well, featuring delicious gyoza and high-quality seafood ramen. I highly recommend this restaurant! View menu

I didn't expect much from this place, but it exceeded my expectations! If you enjoy spicy food, you must try their chili paste! It’s just an extra dollar, but it really elevates the ramen to another level. I also loved their takoyaki (octopus balls); they were hot and delicious. I will definitely be coming back!

We had a fantastic experience and will definitely return! Despite being very busy, we didn't have to wait long, and the Shoyu Ramen was absolutely worth it! The broth was incredible—better than the ramen I had last week in LA, which is saying a lot. They were also very accommodating with my kids who wanted their ingredients served separately. Yum!

You see all these positive reviews? Just go to this place already! The food is fantastic, and the service is excellent. It’s my go-to ramen spot—delicious and affordable compared to most places. There's a server who has been there for a long time; she was even working while pregnant and I never caught her name, but she does an incredible job. The service is top-notch, and she’s honest with her recommendations. I highly recommend this restaurant! View menu

I found this restaurant on social media and decided to check it out. I started with the gyoza, which was quite tasty. For my main course, I chose the tonkotsu ramen. Although it was okay, I've definitely had better ramen in Charlotte. The egg and braised pork belly didn’t stand out to me—I’ve had better versions at other places. Overall, it was a decent experience, but since I know where to find better ramen, I don’t intend to go back for a second visit.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! I first heard about it from my dad during a car ride when we were chatting about the best places to get noodles. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations since I hadn't seen any ads for it. However, I was truly amazed by the Curry Ramen (as shown in the photo). It's one of the best dishes I've ever tried, if not the absolute best. My favorite food used to be pizza, but now it's definitely ramen, and it'll stay my favorite as long as this place is here in Ballantyne.

"My friends and I were enjoying a beautiful night in South End and one of them had found this place online. So we stopped by for a drink. Wow! Gorgeous place! The interior design gave me the warm, welcoming feeling of being at The Grand Bohemian Lodge in Greenville SC- upscale, but unpretentious, inviting, and fun. We were immediately welcomed by the bartenders who talked to us about their different beers and kombuchas. We ordered a couple of flights to sample as many as we could and sat down to play Jenga in one of their many seating areas. Our spot was 2 old leather couches flanking a gorgeous wooden coffee table. So relaxing and sociable. I’ve never been in a brew pub with so much greenery (ferns and other foliage adorn and drape from the rafters filling corners and crannies around the room), natural wood, and light! Another great feature was a floor-to-ceiling wall cabinet filled with really cool things. The beers were unique and fun to try. The vibe is worth the visit even if you don’t love beer. I enjoyed a glass of prosecco and loved learning about and sampling the other beverages. They also have a great outdoor space for gathering where dogs are welcome. My sense is this place was designed for building community, which is something we all need more of. Turn off your cellphones and come here to meet people, pet dogs, and enjoy a great experience!"
