"We had not been to Short Stacks in quite awhile, but wanted a quick breakfast while out running around. Greeted quickly and sat in a booth, drink order taken and served timely. The table was a bit sticky as if it may have been wiped with a heavy dose of syrup from the guests before, leaving the fresh place mats stuck to the table. Our order was taken by our server Lynn who was sweet and efficient, a short stack of pancakes with whipped cream, and scrambled eggs with bacon, hash browns and toast. The food came out in a short time and served with a smile. As far as the food, ehhhhh, mediocre I 'd say. Honestly, the scrambled eggs felt old and over cooked, like they were not cooked fresh to order, not hot as one might hope. The hash browns also not to a nice serving temp as one would expect, scooped out of a pan and served. The bacon just ok. The pancakes....just ok, not hot and fluffy like some others I have has in other places like this. Given the choices in Wellington I would choose Gabriel 's, but for a place in the bigger area of similar offerings Gun Club Cafe will always be the winner when it comes to food, feel, and consistency!! UPDATE To the Owner I give honest reviews sir/madam. What competitor are you speaking of? Instead of acknowledging you missed the mark today and reading an honest review, you want to say I was sent there for some reason other than to have a decent breakfast. Your reaction and accusation seems to indicate you have a problem with some un-named competitor, and a lack of accepting an honest review of your establishment!! Good day!! The service was great but food could be better. The only thing I could say was great was the mimosas. Focus more on the food and I'll be back. Thanks.

I feel like paying $80 for breakfast was a bit much. 2 kids 2 adults. The server did an amazing job, however, I feel the breakfast selection is grossly over priced.

I was served completely burnt English muffins and hard eggs for my Benedict, which should have been runny. To top it off, even after specifying a temperature preference, it wasn’t met. The hollandaise sauce was broken as well. Such a letdown.

I asked for cornbeef hash but instead received a balled up hash brown and I asked for grits and received grit water. Tried to call amd couldn’t get a live person. Food is not cheap and im tired of paying high prices for below average products View menu

I had an awful breakfast experience. The pancakes were served cold and were dry, while the bacon looked so unappealing that I couldn’t bring myself to eat it. The only thing I could finish was the eggs, but really, it’s difficult to mess up eggs.

I can not say enough great things about the people and the menu!! My favorite items are the NANA PANCAKES , HASH BROWN CASEROLE and the SAUSAGE LINKS .. Been dinning here for many years. Youll love what you eat and youll always have someone smile at ya .

Unfortunately, all the food was cold, despite the fact that the driver arrived very quickly and I live only a mile from the restaurant. The "basted" eggs were more like fried eggs, and the turkey sausage was too tough to eat. Additionally, the Strawberry Cream Cheese Crepe was thick and rubbery. View menu

I absolutely love this restaurant! I've placed orders about six times in the last month and have gone there every weekend for breakfast. A big shoutout to the chef—the French Toast Waffles are incredible! I really like the hashbrowns, and my husband can't stop raving about the Burger of Egg. Overall, I rate it an 11/10!

First time coming to this place and it was amazing! Came on a sunday (known for normally long wait times for most restaurants in the area due to church) and was sat down fairly quickly. Server was great and attentive, food came out in a timely manner and tasted AMAZING. Definitely one of my new favorite breakfast spots for the weekend now!

"This was my third visit to Raja Indian Cuisine Bar, and it continues to be a dependable option for authentic Indian flavors with generous portions. The highlights of my meal included: • **Mulligatawny Soup (10/10)**: This vegan dish is rich and flavorful, combining carrots, lentils, apple, coconut cream, and curry. It's a must-try! • **Chicken 65 (10/10)**: These perfectly fried chicken bites are coated in flour and tossed with curry leaves and a sprinkle of chaat masala. We chose medium heat, which delivered a flavor-packed experience with just the right kick. • **Chicken Biryani (9/10)**: Aromatic and full of whole spices, this dish comes with a delicious raita. The chicken was tender and abundant, with at least four pieces. • **Masala Chai (10/10)**: They truly excelled in crafting this comforting and well-spiced beverage! On the other hand: • **Chicken Hakka Noodles (7/10)**: Although it was loaded with veggies, my request for mild seasoning resulted in an underwhelming dish that lacked flavor—the garlic, soy, and ketchup were dialed down too much, making it bland. • **Pakal Chicken (4/10)**: This dish was disappointing; it lacked depth, and the chicken felt like an afterthought in the curry. • **Rice Kheer (6/10)**: It was too sweet and runny for my taste; I anticipated a thicker, custard-like consistency. • **Ras Malai (8/10)**: This chilled dessert is flavorful and soft—definitely a solid choice. • **Chapati vs. Roti**: Chapati takes the win for its softer texture. General observations: • Portion sizes are generous, particularly for rice and noodle dishes. • The restaurant's somewhat secluded location at the back of the mall might not look inviting at first, but the interior is beautifully decorated with Indian accents. • The air conditioning is quite strong, so it might be wise to bring a light layer! • If you're not used to Indian or Pakistani spice levels, I suggest sticking with mild; I usually go for medium to spicy. Overall verdict: It's definitely worth it. Despite a few misses, the standout dishes are compelling enough for me to keep coming back.
