"Silver Beach Pizza is an excellent choice for pizza and more. Nestled in what used to be the St. Joseph train station, this place has more character than a room full of politicians. But here's the kicker: their pizza could probably broker world peace. We're talking top-tier, creative masterpieces that could make a New Yorker weep with joy. And if you're not in the mood for pizza? No problem. Their other menu items are like finding out your blind date is a millionaire – pleasantly surprising and just as satisfying. The portions are generous and the staff friendlier than your dog who just found out you're not leaving for work today. Prices are reasonable. So, if you find yourself on Silver Beach, missing out on this place would be a bigger mistake than a porcupine in a balloon factory. The pizza at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, the service is quick, and the staff is fantastic. As a Veteran, I received a complimentary pizza on Veterans Day, which was a wonderful gesture. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a take-out dinner. I give the food, service, and atmosphere all perfect scores of 5 out of 5. View menu

Silver Beach Pizza is our favorite! We have always enjoyed their delicious pizza, whether we choose to dine in or get takeout. We even indulged in a late night snack from them at our wedding. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great place to eat in St. Joseph! The service was great, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was top-notch. We rate it a 5 for the food, 4 for the service, and 5 for the atmosphere. The price per person is very reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20 for a meal.

Editing my original post: I kept hearing eveyone rave about the pizza here, so after about a year, I decided to go in for the Veteran special (seriously the BEST special I've seen in a long time). I ordered the barbecue pizza and hubby had a salad and a side of fries. We went in to eat this time and the atmosphere was great. Our server, Maddie, was amazing. I also like the non-alcoholic options for beer they have on the menu. The pizza was phenomenal and hubby said his salad was great as well! The fries were seasoned perfectly. Overall, a great place and I won't be ordering for pickup anymore, because that whole situation is just too stressful. I also will be eating here in the off-season wh...

"We arrived shortly after 7 p.m. and immediately overheard one of the staff engaged in a conversation filled with extremely foul language, which was quite off-putting for a first impression of a restaurant. After a few minutes, we were finally seated, but then we felt completely forgotten. It took over 40 minutes before a waitress came to take our drink order, and we quickly decided to order our food at the same time. The wait for our food was equally long, taking another 35 to 40 minutes. I ordered the Simon sandwich with french fries. Unfortunately, it was drenched in so much barbecue sauce that it soaked through the bread and made it nearly impossible to enjoy. The roast beef was stringy and tough; every bite resulted in half the filling falling out, making it hard to chew. In the past, I have ordered that sandwich dozens of times and always considered it one of the best in St. Joseph, but tonight it was barely edible. I ended up leaving a quarter of the sandwich and quite a few of the french fries on my plate. The fries were overly greasy and tasted like they had been cooked in old oil. After we placed our food order, we didn't see our waitress again, so there were no drink refills, and we weren't even asked if we wanted dessert. This was certainly not the experience I wanted my friend to have at a restaurant I used to cherish. I have no plans to return anytime soon."
