"When I called the restaurant, the woman on the phone insisted they had included the rice. I assured her that I was looking at the contents of the bag right then and there, and it was definitely missing. I decided to go back to the restaurant to retrieve the rice, but when I arrived, the lady claimed not only that they had packed it, but that they also had me on camera carrying the bag with the white rice in it. I asked to see the supposed footage, but they refused.
To Cafe de Bangkok: If you choose to respond to this review, I challenge you to share that footage of me with the non-existent rice—go ahead, make me look ridiculous! Ironically, when I finally got the rice, it wasn't even fresh.
All of this fuss over a side of white rice? In the past year, I've spent nearly $600 at this place. No matter how good the food may be, I can no longer see myself coming back after this experience. It's clear from the low-star reviews that the people running this restaurant have serious attitude problems and struggle with handling criticism or inconvenience. They really need to do better."
