"After many years, today marked my last visit. When this restaurant first opened, the food was delicious and the reviews were excellent. Unfortunately, I now find myself agreeing with those who have criticized the taste and pricing. A few years ago, they messed up my order, and I had to drive back for 20 minutes because they refused to admit their mistake, instead blaming me for ordering incorrectly. How could I possibly order lamb soup when the very thought of it disgusts me? Despite this, I continued to eat there because the food was good. However, I've recently noticed a shift in their attitude—perhaps due to an influx of negative reviews—and the food now tastes completely different. I suspect the chef has changed, so I’ll wait a couple of years before giving them another try in hopes that they bring someone else on board. It’s just too expensive, and I hate wasting $30. It’s truly sad to see a once-great restaurant decline, driven by greed that leads to cheaper ingredients and poor staffing."

This is truly one of the finest Mediterranean restaurants I have ever experienced. Everything was outstanding, from the lamb and chicken to the beverages and desserts. I wholeheartedly recommend it and would certainly come back. The service was exceptional—quick and attentive.

Outstanding service, delicious food, and a consistently enjoyable atmosphere make this one of our favorite local places. And the BYOB policy? We're all for it! It’s the perfect option for a dinner during the week. Don't miss out on the branzino and falafel—believe us, you won't regret it!

I have tried a few of the Turkish restaurants in sunny side but Sofra exceeds them in terms of taste. We ordered Sofra special grill. Food tasted real good and the quantity was more than enough for two. We were served complimentary tea in the end. Staffis courteous. Highly recommended. Would visit again.

I’m 30 years old, and I've never eaten anything as bad as this in my life. The pide was undercooked, and the cheese was so unpleasant that I couldn’t even bear to touch it. The dough was too thin for the pide. I rarely leave feedback on restaurants, but I have to say, I wouldn’t recommend this place—stay away! View menu

People seemed friendly enough. Portion size was fine, but the food was lacking in just basic flavor, without even an ounce of salt in any of the food. Maybe it was because we ordered for pick up, instead of eating in, but It was a huge letdown afterordering so much for my parents anniversary. We couldn?t even eat much of it.

This Turkish restaurant is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. We kicked off our meal with calamari fritters as an appetizer; they were good, though not exceptional. For the main course, we opted for the mixed grill platter, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the kebabs. There was a weekend special featuring lamb leg, but it wasn't quite to our liking. To finish, we ordered Kunafe for dessert. Since it’s made fresh, it took a bit of time to arrive, but it was definitely worth the wait!
