"I want to preface this by saying the food was really very good. The cheese was melted to perfection and their employees honestly are nice, however their menu had some inaccuracies. The patty melt comes with 1/2 patty, white American cheese, mushrooms, and sauteed onions; I don 't like mushrooms or onions but the buddy wanted the onions so I asked them to remove the mushrooms and just put the onions on the side. The burgers came with fries, but you have the option of substituting the fries for a different side with a list of more premium sides very clearly marked $1.79 upcharge. The chili cheese fries were one of those on that list. After a hard day 's work of helping people move in, I thought I might treat myself to some chili fries especially for just a $1.79 upcharge. I noticed that the chili cheese fries were charged as $3.50 before I got my food and so I got up to ask about it. The manager looked and saw what I was talking about about with the menu saying $1.79 but my receipt showing $3.50 and decided to ring it up again just to see what happened and sure enough the chili fries are $3.50. So she apologized and said yeah it looks like they are $3.50. Our menus need to be updated... She proceeds to point out a number of other items on the menu that don 't show the correct pricing then apologized again. The manager made sure to bring out the chili cheese fries herself and asked if I wanted any extra chili or any queso or ranch to go with them, but all I wanted was for their menus to be correct and the difference in the cost refunded. I would NOT have gotten chili cheese fries had I known they were $3.50. They were really good, but not worth $3.50 to me. It was only after I got my food when I saw that the onions were in fact on the burger. I looked at the receipt again to verify that we did indicate onions on the side and saw that they had also charged me 79¢ for onions that come with the burger to be put on the side. At this point I didn 't feel like getting up again or causing a scene so I picked off the onions and ate my food. Electing instead to leave a review. If it were my restaurant, at the first offense I would have not only recognized that the mistake was on our end and apologized, but I would have at least offered to refund the difference in the items and then promptly made sure my menu was updated. The menus are digital too, so it wouldn 't even be difficult to update them. Should be done after any change to the menu. I also would have made sure that everything else on that customers order was correct devoid of any silly mistakes like getting charged for onions that already come with their burger. Once again, the food was very good, the atmosphere was great, and the staff was kind, but I give two stars because I over paid 3 dollars for my meal. One star for each dollar I overpaid. {As I write this I am reminded that while we were ordering the manager came out and asked the fellow working the register if a certain customer had ordered, this customer was apparently well known and cared about by the manager at least if not the rest of the staff as she called her by name and knew she couldn 't eat bacon, but the lady had called and said there was bacon on her burger."
