"*sigh*I wanted to like this place because it has decent prices (especially compared to the adjacent crab shack) and is decently close to where I live. What a cool little spot! The food tasted *fine*, but it wasn’t really exceptional. “Mango” chicken had pieces of mango, but the sauce by itself had nothing to do with Mango. The spicy beef was tender and delicious, but again not exceptional. Spring roll was kind of bland, but it had an okay crunch. We asked for steamed rice and got fried rice; we were told the fried shrimp was made in house and was massive, and what we got was just… hm. Not worth the price, I think.Staff was friendly and kind, knowledgeable and decisive. We liked her!Music was a bit loud over the speakers, and we were there for lunch hour but only a couple other tables were filled in the sizable space.Sad to say that we’ll probably pop over to Aung’s instead (though perhaps they are different markets altogether, so maybe it doesn’t matter). The food just wasn’t notable for good aspects for the most part."

We ordered the beef and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, and spicy shrimp fried rice, and everything was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you! Food: 5/5

Spicy Basil is the perfect combo of very savory Eastern food and efficient service. It was a staple for me during COVID and remains one of my go too when I am craving for Chinese, Vietnamese or Thai prepared in a very tasty manner, in generous portions and by a great team of people.Food: 5/5

The pad Thai had no flavor in it and the chicken seemed undercooked. The hot and sour soup was CHUNKY with big globs of gelatin/mucus looking that I’ve never ever seen in a hot and sour soup. No flavor for that as well. I am very disappointed in the quality of this food and the flavor. I won’t be ordering again.

The food was overcooked, too salty, and drenched in sauce. The tiny pieces of broccoli were practically blended into the sauce, while the menu picture showed large, fresh broccoli florets. The sesame tofu was quite tasty once I removed it from the excess sauce. Unfortunately, I found a hair in the egg roll container, so I chose not to eat those, especially since they looked dark and shriveled from being overfried. View menu

We needed somewhere to eat nearby, and this place came up on the old googs. Everything we got (peanut chicken, peanut curry, pepper steak) was incredibly good! The portions were huge also the leftovers easily made a second meal. Highly recommend. If you’ve gotten door dash from here you may like it even better if you get it fresh from the kitchen.Vegetarian options: Probably about 10+ veg entrees. Good selection.Parking: About 10 15 spots out front. We found one right away.

I've been dining at this restaurant for years, and I've always loved the food. My go-to dish is General Tso's chicken, and I always request it extra spicy because I find the regular version too sweet. However, during my last takeout order, the General Tso's was incredibly spicy. I couldn't eat it, and I usually enjoy some heat. I'm not sure if there's a new chef, but it definitely didn't taste like the dish I've been enjoying for so long. I’ll give it another try, but if I experience the same issue again, I may have to look for a new place to eat.

Terrible service! The server seemed indifferent and unconcerned. I made the mistake of ordering a spicy dish and ended up paying $10 for just a side of rice and a spring roll because the main dish was too fiery to eat. I informed the server that the tofu and vegetables were extremely spicy (and I usually enjoy spicy food), but she simply said "okay" and didn’t offer any assistance. We also ordered a Thai Iced Tea, which the menu didn’t indicate came with milk—had I known, I wouldn’t have ordered it. Overall, it was a disappointing experience; don't waste your money here. This place has a lot of room for improvement. View menu

We ordered from here yesterday, and here's our experience with the food: The gyoza appeared to be deep-fried, with a texture reminiscent of funnel cake. The sweet and sour chicken was overcooked, with some pieces even burnt. The miso soup was decent, though it had a slightly tangy flavor. The egg drop soup had an off-putting sour taste. The yaki udon was acceptable; I've had better, but it had the fewest issues, which is why I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of 1. Honestly, I don't think we'll be ordering from here again. Every dish was at best mediocre, and the overall quality felt very poor. Even if the cooking had been better, the ingredients themselves seemed cheap.

June 2023: I would not order from here again. Management, please consider redesigning your menu to focus on dishes that your kitchen can prepare properly. Many one-star reviews highlight the same issues. Unfortunately, I had what I believe was the worst Thai food in the Denver metro area at this restaurant. I placed a DoorDash order and now regret spending my $5 credit on it. The Chinese food was decent, but the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew noodles were dry, clumped together, and lacked flavor. The Pad Thai appeared bright red, likely from food coloring, but it tasted completely bland. Don't waste your time or money here. Nice decor and atmosphere don’t matter if the food is awful.

"After hearing so many raves about this place, I am finally joining the crowd to add something nice to say about it. Do they need more great reviews at this point as they are already rated 5 stars? Well, I shall go ahead with it! Tokyo Premium Bakery far exceeded my expectation today. I thought it would be crowded but when I arrived at around 9:30am, there was only one person at the register. This place still has somewhat strict COVID protocol so customers are not allowed to walk up to the bakes goods and pick whatever you want. There are two printed menu with pictures of each item on them so you just have to tell the cashier person which one you want. In a way, it 's a really good practice that the breads/bakes goods are not constantly exposed to contaminants/germs. As I grew up in Japan, buying my favorite bread/baked goods at a bakery in my neighborhood was one of my routines. No matter which bakeries I went, they all had a huge selection of savory ones to sweet ones. The only thing that this Tokyo Premium Bakery is that their selection is not as big as I thought. So some items were simply sold out by the time I got there? Well, next time I go there, I will make sure to go at the open time. I wanted to pick three items but I simply had a hard time choosing so I went with two: Matcha Cream and Beef Curry. Matcha Cream was superb. They perfected the match (custard cream by putting just the right amount of match in it. This was simply delightful. Beef Curry (what the Japanese people call them is Curry Bread was something that reminded me of my days when I was just a kid growing up eating a bunch of the Curry Bread almost weekly. This definitely was my staple of my kid life. They made my morning and stomach so delightful; now I am regretting that I didn 't get a 3rd item!"
