"I do not understand the 4.3 rating average here. This restaurant, from a foodie perspective is objectively bad. It does have a certain sense of nostalgia for pre-packaged and/or canned depression Era foods and cooking methods. I was raised by a few bad cooks, and married a great one, so my nostalgia for this place was not from an enjoyable place. The building, and staffing practices remind me of a cheesy strip club from my youth, including the smell of cigarettes permeating the entire property. They clearly use Sysco or some other cookie cutter food service company for their supplies and they could not cook a medium rare steak, because if the bottom of the barrel quality of the injected meat product they called a steak. I've made better steaks drunk, high, AND in my underwear."
