Steak 'n Shake - Menu

I had an amazing experience at the drive-thru today! My food was prepared quickly and tasted absolutely delicious. I tried the #11, and it was simply fantastic. I can't recommend it enough!

They obviously don't rinse their lettuce cuz there's a nice big bug that didn't get washed off. See photo. Also took over 10 minutes to get food from the drive through with no line.. it's not even worth buying food out anymore...

Food was good. Be aware they have a very limited menu at the moment. You order and then seat yourself pick up your food when your name is called. Would still return for not have to wait long and the food we ordered was made order. View menu

So wasn’t aware of the new serve yourself style at this restaurant, that wasn’t really bad BUT I can’t believe they had run out of catsup, how does that even happen?!? But I felt for the employees, our cashier was very friendly and helpful. Shame on the management.

I give steak and shake 5 stars simply for having delicious food(my go to is a Frisco Melt). From what I could tell, every one received their food rather quickly, which was quite nice since you look at a menu and place your order before you pick out a place to dine. Summary- Quick and enjoyable!

Seems the business is going through a rough patch compared to what it once was. Food is still the same but the service has changed to more of a typical fast food experience. Disappointed in the fact I couldn't find any shaker for the fries seasoning. I hope things get better for this location in the near future. View menu

Went there for my lunch break, ordered a #2, which is just a single patty burger, fries a drink. I asked for honey mustard the girl at the window had to get a manager over there, for some reason, just to tell me they no longer had honey mustard or ranch. I'm ok with that, but he was kind of rude as he was telling me this practically shoving my food in my face. After eating the burger, I immediately felt nauseous. It was so greasy was COLD. The cheese wasn't even melted. I was very disappointed. I will not be going back there anytime soon.

The last time we dined here, you could place your order at the table, but now orders are taken at the counter. The woman who took our order was friendly and attentive. My grandson prefers no-frills meals, so he ordered a plain #1 steak burger without cheese and a simple chocolate milkshake, without whipped cream or a cherry. I opted for the same burger but without tomato. Our food was ready in about five minutes, and everything was perfect and delicious. My grandson especially enjoyed the juicy burgers and the thin shoestring fries. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

dont tip when you order, there is no customer service in the dining room. you do you own pick up and delivery to your table. The steakburger was good, as it always is at a steak and shake. The fries were room temp to cold; I stood at the counter to tell someone, but the cashier had a line of about 4 people, the cook did not know anything existed behind his back, and the lady that took my order was no where to be seen. I took my tray up to the counter when leaving, and the lady appeared. i told here the fries were cold at pick up and it was disappointing. she did not apologize, but offered a shake as I was headed out the door.
