"We went for lunch on Sunday at 1pm after a friend recommended it for its great dimsum. We expected to wait but there were open tables so we were seated right away. The service was attentive and the food came quickly. The focus here is on the food, not the ambiance. The menu is not as extensive as other dimsum restaurants, but we enjoyed the variety. Our favorites were the crisp and flavorful string beans, the refreshing passion fruit aloe green tea, and the pork belly with charcoal buns - my son, who loves Peking duck, preferred these. The charcoal buns tasted the same as regular bao to us. The braised beef noodle soup with wontons was delicious, with flavorful shrimp wontons and a beefy broth. The pan-fried soup dumplings were tasty, with a generous filling and lots of soup. On our next visit, we would skip the vinegary cucumbers, the beef kimcheese rice which was more tomatoey than kimchee flavored, and the XLB trio where we couldn't really taste the truffle. We would prefer to order just the crab ones as the others were not as amazing."

If you are from SF like we are you will be disappointed. This is sort of mock Asian food. But if you want better than Panda it’s ok.

Kimchi fried rice was more sour than expected. Pan fried dumplings were good but nothing crazy. The pork Xiao long bao was very ginger-forward.

I've always enjoyed this place. Menu isn't huge but has great variety, still many options. Nice people. Offered me water while waiting for my to-go order.

There are plenty of fantastic dumpling spots in the Bay Area, but unfortunately, this particular restaurant's dumplings did not have enough flavor for my liking. I will be passing on this one. View menu

Food was decent. Not the best, but it was good. Staff was excellent. Small, crowded and noisy environment.Parking: Next to In-n-out Burger so it was different to get in and out of a parking spot.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

I am surprisingly a fan of this random dim sum restaurant near the airport. The steamed rolls are fresh, and deliciousness in a box! I never had a beef shumai and it's a game changer . The pork shumai has some kind of shiitake mushroom in it and it's a very distinct flavor. Everything was bomb dot com and tastes like it wasn't frozen and steamed. Tastes home made !

We ordered the full Hainan chicken, the XLB Trio (original, crab, truffle, BBQ pork buns), typhoon ha gao, pork belly with charcoal buns, and Chinese broccoli. I particularly enjoyed the typhoon ha gao, which is one of my favorite dishes at dim sum restaurants. The original and truffle XLB were also delicious. Unfortunately, I did not care for the crab XLB, but my mother-in-law really liked it. I look forward to returning to try the other soup dumplings and regular siu mai. The pricing here is incredibly reasonable compared to other dim sum spots on the peninsula. For example, three pieces of ha gao can cost $10-$12 elsewhere, but here they are only $5.50. This place is definitely worth a v... View menu

I came on a Saturday during lunch time and it was somewhat busy. My party got lucky with a table and we were seated immediately. The interior is not the biggest but it seems to seat around 30. The style is nice and modernized. Hainan Chicken (Full) 8.5/10 It tasted great but this is all you get in the dish along with sauces. There are no other additions such as rice or peanuts. I would get it again, but maybe in an order with other additionals.Typhoon Ha Gao 10/10 This was so good, it was crunchy and tasty. I'm not sure what those flakes were but it was really good with the ha gao and especially with the Hainan chicken. Felt like this added flavor to anything it touched! If I'm in the area I...

"Curry Hyuga had long been on my culinary radar, and today, I finally had the chance to experience it. The occasion arose as I needed to pick up my partner at SFO later, and given the mere 10-minute drive from the restaurant to the airport, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to satiate my appetite and make the most of my time, rather than aimlessly circling around the airport. Conveniently, there are numerous public parking lots scattered throughout the town. The restaurant opens its doors at 11:30 am, and I arrived promptly at 11:25 am, only to find a queue already forming outside, as depicted in the photo. The attentive server, Yuki promptly greeted each customer and kept my water glasses filled, setting a positive tone for the dining experience.Opting for their Signature Curry Rice Entree, which features their caramelized onion curry accompanied by shredded cabbage, creamy potato salad, and Fukujin pickles, I decided to elevate my meal by adding Chicken Cutlet Katsu Curry with Chicken Karaage as additional toppings. To my amazement, my order was delivered to my table in a mere 3 minutes, which left me thoroughly impressed. Curry Hyuga's standout feature is their incredibly tender meat, perfectly complemented by their mouthwatering curry—a true masterpiece with Kanazawa-style sweetness and richness that sets it apart. To further customize your dish, they offer a selection of five different spices: Ichimi Togarashi, Jalapeno Pepper, Pequin Pepper, Wiri Wiri Pepper, and Orange Habanero. I had the pleasure of sampling all of them, and personally, I found the Wiri Wiri Pepper and Orange Habanero powder to be standout choices. Their spiciness elevated the curry to a whole new level, complemented by the unique fragrance of the peppers."
