"For those looking for a vegetarian option, the Sweet Baby roll is a standout. It features shiitake mushrooms, cream cheese, mango, spicy mayo, and avocado, all coated in crunchy crumbs and topped with a sweet sauce. I've never had a roll like it, and I'm a big fan—I think I'll order it every time! The staff at the restaurant are very friendly, and they always give me a HiChew candy when I leave, which is a nice touch. Be sure to check out Sushi Mon when you have the chance!"

LOVE this place, the pressed sushi is one of a kind and fantastic, and the service has been consistently great. Highly recommend!

The sushi here is fresh and delicious, offered at reasonable prices with friendly service. What more could you ask for? The spicy tuna roll was one of the best I've ever had.

Here's the deal: I took one bite of the Philly roll and one bite of the spicy super white tuna roll, and I immediately grabbed my phone to write this review. The fish is incredibly fresh, and the sushi is outstanding! I'm so glad I discovered this place! View menu

*look at the specials board* Honestly some of the best sushi in Chicago randomly placed in Lincoln Park. Will probably only order sushi from here ever again tbh. Wait staff so well versed on the menu I was very impressed. Check them out, BYOB no corking fee!

The sushi was decent but not memorable. The fish didn't have much flavor, and the waiter seemed uninterested and had an unpleasant demeanor. Additionally, I was provided with a dirty soy sauce bottle for my meal. Besides one couple who was leaving, I was the only customer in the restaurant.

My boyfriend and I came here 8 years ago on our first Valentine's Day date and decided to come again this year. The staff are so nice especially our server. We order different rolls of Sushi and both got Miso Soup. The food didn't take long and it was extremely delicious. I highly recommend this lovely restaurant! View menu

This restaurant is BYOB, which is a great perk. The sushi is of excellent quality and beautifully presented. The service was exceptional as well. While the prices for the sushi are a bit higher than some other places in the area, I believe it's justified. Considering that you can bring your own bottle of sake, the overall cost ends up being lower than at many other restaurants.

WORST place to order from. We order from there when I'm pregnant because they have some veggie options. Not kidding, every SINGLE TIME, they are over an hour late with our food. They're never sorry and always blame on the delivery driver. Tonight was the last time. We cancelled our order and it was the last time. If you order from here, add an additional hour to your delivery time. Or just don't order from them.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
