Sushi Ya - Menu

The interior of the restaurant is beautiful. Never have had to wait and the food is good. The wait was longer than it should be but the water boy was amazing with keeping our cups full.

Inviting atmosphere with semi private booths. Love the orient sea life decorations. Booths have privacy screens adding a touch of intimacy. Rich miso soup, warm crunchy fried rolls. All great!

Excellent sushi prepared with care and a great attention to detail. Everything was presented beautifully on our sushi yacht and tasted great – with unique twists to increase taste and variety. The interior is beautiful and the service was enthusiastic. Very recommended!

Had a wonderful time with the woman. The setting is beautiful and they have blinds that give you some privacy in the stands. This place is quite often busy, which certainly tells you, it will be a great place to dune! The sushi is fantastic and they have Ana maxing wine and Sake selection. I'm here twice and will definitely come back.

The food is tasteless, guess that's the reason they have soy sauce on the table, being that was the only thing that had any taste. If you love green tea, don't order it, that was tasteless as well. You would do fine with just the water! Either the folk's in Anchorage have no taste buds or, It could also be my taste buds are used to the lower tasty food,that are full of flavor! Personally I would hire people that knows how important it is to eat food with amazing flavors! View menu

our party was looking for a good sushi place that was not overpriced. we were in anchorage, but had never tried sushi ya. I'm so glad we shot her. our waitress was new because she was taught by another veteran waitress. although she was new, she did an excellent job! all our foods were right and everything was delivered quickly. the quality of sushi and sashimi was very high, but not excessively expensive. the atmosphere was also excellent. I'm glad we had a chance to come to this facility and can't wait to return.

Came to Anchorage for appointments. Have been to Sushi Ya many times in the past. Welcoming customer service. Spacious clean dining area, bathrooms also clean. Wait staff is friendly and so helpful knowledgeable about the food. Spicy seafood noodle soup is amazing, fresh seafood broth taste. Vegetable and shrimp tempura a little greasy, we enjoyed the sushi, fresh and delicious. Music was a little too loud. Nice place for a family gathering, small birthday party or celebration. If your in town from area villages it’s close to shopping and entertainment. I highly recommend Sushi Ya to family and friends!!

Great customer service and delicious food. My only criticism was on the sushi roll selection. All the raw rolls had a spicy tuna base (not sure about the boiled rolls because I wanted raw and did not look too hard on the part of the menu.) There was one that had a spicy yellowfin base, but that's it. I'm okay with spicy tuna, but it's not my favorite, so I had a hard time choice. Some varieties would be appreciated. The role I ended on the basis of the Kellner recommendation was indeed a spicy tuna base and it was still tasty. I would recommend this restaurant to satisfy these sushi vows, and I would try again other items on their menu. View menu
