"While in Fargo Moorhead for Rare Beer Picnic, I made sure to get out of bed to join other craft beer nerds for the release of Double Barrel Aged King Size and Double Barrel Aged Midnight Spider at Junkyard Brewing. Rather than getting the bottles and running back to the hotel, I chose to sit and enjoy myself with a few half pours of their amazing beers in addition to chomping down a bigger plate of popcorn that I probably needed. Double Barrel Aged King Size: A Peanut Stout aged in two consecutive sets of freshly dumped Willet bourbon barrels, and then transferred to a new set of freshly dumped Willet bourbon barrels. Through the double barrel aging I get a lot of barrel character including licorice, oak, and bitter chocolate that plays well with the roasted nut flavors that are strong in the non barrel aged version. King Size is my favorite PB Stout, and this brought out a TON of complex flavors not in the OG. Double Barrel Aged Midnight Spider: An Imperial Stout double barrel aged in the same manner as DBA King Size. The base stout was brewed with roasted barley and conditioned on cocoa nibs, black walnuts, and marshmallow. The base beer is tasty in its own right, but the aging brings out the Rocky Road Ice Cream feel even more with some maple, oak, and vanilla flavors accentuated. Mild bitterness shown more think dark bakers chocolate and roasted nut. Wicked Awesome Slurry: An Imperial Double IPA hopped with Eureka and El Dorado. High haze, fluffy body mouthfeel from Wheat additions, and high tropical juice and bitterness. The name doesn't lie this is some wicked awesome slurry of dankness and citrus. ____________________"

"This restaurant is absolutely amazing. The dining experience is unparalleled and the service is top-notch. The menu is always changing and each dish I've tried is delightful and one-of-a-kind. As a finishing touch, they serve a selection of artisan cheeses, cured meats, and fresh eggs from the farm. The atmosphere is indescribable, a perfect blend of gourmet, farm-to-table, creative casual, and local charm all wrapped up in one. I can't think of a better place to dine, you're guaranteed to have a memorable meal. Chef Ryan is also a fantastic guy."

"This was a shockingly bad dining experience. Service was exceptionally slow for our two-person dining party. My wife ordered a gin martini that arrived late without any type of garnish. Then an appetizer arrived – 40 minutes after we’d been seated. Our second appetizer arrived at the same time as our entrées. This second appetizer consisted of three scallops and cost $20. My $75 steak was one of the worst I’ve eaten in my life. I’ve never encountered as much gristle as I did that night! I was famished so I ate most of the steak, but our waiter only checked on the quality of our meal once – at the end of our main course. When I told the waiter the steak was simply a bad cut of meat, nothing was done. All the while we were dining, none of the surrounding tables were cleared, so by the end of the evening we were surrounded by garbage on all adjacent tables. It was absurdly bad! The quality of the food, service and ambiance surrounded by other patrons’ waste! are absolutely not commensurate with the price you pay. You’d be well advised to steer clear of this train wreck of a restaurant.What’s worse is that we are from out of town Canada and were hoping this would be the one upscale meal of our short trip. Instead, we paid a ridiculous amount of money $185 USD $250 CAD for a seriously disappointing meal."

"I haven't had food this good in ages! The service was top-notch. The servers and hostess were incredibly friendly and professional. They promptly refilled our drinks and cleared away our empty plates. They also had a great understanding of the menu and were easy to talk to. As for the food, it was exceptional! My husband ordered the duck breast, which he absolutely loved for how perfectly it was cooked—he said it practically melted in his mouth. I had the fettuccine, which was freshly made in-house, and its flavor was out of this world. Overall, it was a truly unforgettable dining experience."

"Amazing place! Being from the area, coming back when visiting from our new home in AZ, Walleye is always a must. Typically that is a fish fry on a Friday. Well I didn't get in until late Friday. This place subbed in and filled that niche then some! Amazing walleye! My guest had walleye fingers and I had the grilled walleye. Both were amazing. Tried my guest's fries and they were great, too! Definitely looking forward to my next trip back home to check out this spot more!"
